I didn't love the ales, but the atmosphere is great and they had a pool table in pretty good condition.

Great Local Pub ...We we're sad to hear that you & your family are hanging up the towel. My partner, myself & our beloved frenchie Neve loved our time when I came up to visit my childhood home afew times a year, having a few drinks (always spot on & good prices) chatting to the locals, particularly Edmond & Les. We understand how hard it must have been the last few years & wish you all good luck on whatever your next adventure will be.

It was okay. Pretty ugly on the inside. The jukebox is fun and the pool table is enjoyable. Very little seating though. Good variety of drinks, if a little overpriced.

Visited today and found no food on sale, no cup of coffee, stock being run down, since landlords leaving very shortly. Limited choice of wine, which had been open too long, so beginning to go sour, beer probably not pulled through that day, so tasting stale. When a pub doesn't open until 3.00pm, then the death knell has sounded long since. Perhaps new landlords will effect a big change - it's needed

It's a traditional pub, with a fine selection of real ales. Yes, it has a pool table, Dukebox and Sky TV, but essentially it's a great place to meet up and enjoy a bit of banter.

Best pub in town. BT sports, pool table, live music and cheap drinks. As well as a warm atmosphere.

It is a very authentic local pub. You'd be right to guess a small TV and a pool table, a selection of local ales (one or two are always on the tap), and a tiny terrace at the back. The place is usually quiet, I've never seen it crowded. Worth popping in to explore Malmesbury since you are around.

Since Claire took over, they have worked really hard to make this a great place to go for a pint. The main bar is usually buzzing, or you can chill out in the lounge bar or garden. Glad to be able to have The Cups back on my list of places to stop at.

Visited this pub for the 2nd time on New Year's eve 2017. After ordering a beer for me and my buddy I was approached and questioned, rather intimidatingly, by a man who later identified himself as the owner/manager. He was accompanied by a local who looked like he was ready to re-arrange the geography of my face. We we advised that this pub was for locals ONLY and we should finish up and move on. I found this pub intimidating in the extreme and if you're from out of town - AVOID.

Not currently serving food but I believe it has recently been taken over and they are finding their feet. The landlady was extremely nice and welcoming and working really hard behind the bar to keep everyone happy. The drinks are reasonably priced and they have a fairly good selection. There are bar snacks and I believe the makings of a coffee hub with cakes. The place was nice and busy and we had a great time. I wish them the best of luck. Drop in for a pint and support if you can
