Wenlock Pottery
Visited the pottery whilst wandering round the town. A lovely site, being able to walk through the shop to the kiln then into the bar area.I purchased a beautiful blue and yellow yarn bowl to replace my old one.Mike was very helpful and we discussed the size of the bowl as he told me why he started making them.Definitely worth a visit.

Wenlock Pottery
Wenlock Pottery is simply an amazing place to stay! The accommodation is just simply fantastic and so central to Much Wenlock. Parking is included which makes logistics straightforward but the best thing is the incredible friendly hospitality of the hosts - breakfast was awesome and the bar provided much needed refreshments at the right times. We didn't get a chance to actually try pottery but we will on our next visit. Definitely can't recommend highly enough!

We came to wenlock for two birthday presents and had such a hoot with Mike & co!Mike was great fun, very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable but equally left us to it to get stuck in. All of the party left with 2 hand thrown pieces which to our surprise resembled something of a dish, pot or plate! We will no doubt go back for a full day this time as half a day wasn’t enough for us! It’s a hidden gem for sure!Thanks again Mike & co!Harriet, Becky and Kieran!

Wenlock Pottery
Our second stay at The Pottery. Cannot fault anything. Our hosts were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Spotless room and fabulous breakfast. Added bonus of the pottery shop, items handmade on site. You probably won't go home empty handed, I didn't. Much Wenlock is a beautiful little market town with a lot to explore. As we were there for a wedding, we didn't get the chance to do that. But, that gives us another excuse to go back there again.

We enjoyed a great pottery session. Mike was an expert and amazing to watch him. Our attempts weren’t quite as good but we had 2hours to attempt anyway (session lasting 2hrs 45 total). It was a lovely atmosphere and didn’t feel rushed at all. Great value for money and we each got to keep 2 pots we had made.

We had a wonderful stay at Wenlock Pottery from Friday to Sunday. The room was very spacious & clean. Plenty of tea and coffee and a fridge to store your items. Breakfast was very filling with a good choice on the menu. Hospitality was warm and you were made to feel very welcome. Very highly rated and will stay again when in the Much Wenlock area. Thank you both

Three of us signed up for a pottery throwing taster session at Wenlock Pottery and I cannot recommend it enough. Mike was so knowledgeable and a great teacher, he really emphasized having fun and we certainly did. If you're even considering giving it a go, it's definitely worth it.

Wenlock Pottery
We had the most amazing stay in the B&B and also a pottery day with Mike. He is a fabulous and patient teacher. Shelagh’s cooking was delicious and catered for vegetarians. The highlight of the stay was doing some Raku firing after lunch- we’ve got some beautiful pots at home to remind us of a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to new friends, who made us feel like family, at Wenlock Pottery.
