Paragon Kickboxing Academy

I'm gutted I left Paragon to re locate 4 hours away. If I could have brought Tom and the gang with me I would have! Paragon felt more than just a kickboxing Dojo. I was welcomed from day 1, motivated, inspired and looked after. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been with Paragon since last summer. Ever since I was a child I've had an interest for marital arts but for numerous reasons I never persued it. In July 2022 I saw and an ad on Facebook for a 4 week's trial and I signed up. At first my main goal was to get fit and learn the techniques,  then I started grading for belts and eventually decided to give competition a go. I didn't think I had it in me as I am not an aggressive person, and I thought one need to have a certain type of personality to be good at it. Today, I'm 2 days after my second competition where I stood my ground in Light Contact against an experienced fighter and won a silver medal in Points Fighting. Considering I am 36 years old and have never done any martial arts before, I can say I'm very proud of myself to have come this far and my journey will continue further.With the support and training I get at the dojo I worked up the courage to develop further and further. I found a great group of people I'm proud to train alongside and all I can say to anyone out there contemplating whether to do it or not, just do it, because you have nothing to loose and a lot to gain!

Paragon is far more than a kickboxing academy or a place to keep fit. Paragon provides you with a complete lifestyle change, a new outlook on life, and an inclusive family of like-minded individuals to train alongside with. All of this is provided in company with the improved physical fitness and mental health that the Academy focuses on. Each individual, no matter their age, their history, their current fitness levels, or their fitness experience, will find themselves excelling inside the Academy walls and with personal aid from Head Coach Tom. The help and support received inside every session also continues outside of it, with personal messages and access to a member's only Facebook group.

My 3 kids have been trying with paragon since they was 4 they are now 8 7 and 5. Highly recommended. The sensi works well with the kids and his young student who's been with Tom for many many years the kids love her.

I'm so glad I joined Paragon, it's fun & friendly with a great team spirit. The coach really knows how to push everyone to achieve their own individual goals and everyone is so supportive. I'd highly recommend everyone giving it a go!

After seeing an ad online, I joined Paragon Kickboxing Academy after wanting to try something different and can honestly say that it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The place has a good atmosphere, everyone is friendly and respectful of each other and Sensei Tom thrives on getting the best out of his students with his wealth of experience, knowledge and discipline. And as a student myself it has helped me with my confidence, coordination, flexibility and overall fitness - things that I struggled with in the past.If you ever want to take up a martial art in a great environment then I highly recommend Paragon Kickboxing Academy.

don't like the gym but want to stay fit and enjoy hard work and make friends, then join Paragon Kickboxing Academy! Never did I think marital art of any description could be fun let alone training with a group of people as I get quite embarrassed at looking stupid or awkward. I only went along for a six week course to try and get fitter. Well I am still there. Sensei Tom has the ability to encourage and motivate you and help to achieve your goal.Paragon Kickboxing Academy for health, fitness and fun for all Ages!
