Tunshill Golf Club

A gem of course hidden away, it's as if the members want to keep it a secret. That said my wife and I fully enjoyed the testing holes and quirkiness of the 6th/7th par 5 holes with the shared fairway. Members made is very welcome. The course was in a fantastic condition a huge credit to the sole groundsman.

Great place, friendly staff. You can even meet Santa there.

Nice course, 9 holes twice but from different tees for back 9. Picturesque, set in a secluded location, wide fairways but tricky greens so practice your putting! Very friendly welcome from the members.

Weather was good. Course was in good condition. Fast greens and were of a good size to make approaching easier, although some deep pitch marks on the green from previous play and not repaired. Members on the course were really friendly. Hole 5 was interesting with the massive hill and green tucked behind it.Slightly confused with the shared fairways but makes it easier if driving. On the 6th was about to approach and players were teeing off from the 7th and balls landing to where I was stood - no fore call or perhaps the motorway traffic was loud. Can imagine the course being hectic on busy days.Sat and talked to members in the clubhouse whilst having a refreshment after 9 holes. Made me feel welcome. Will visit again knowing what to expect. You have to look for signposts to make sure you’re on the correct hole tee box.

Really friendly golf club, no stuffiness. The course is just 9 holes but has 18 tees. It’s a good test of golf.

Not as good as Tesco when all you want is a bottle of milk. Other than that, lovely.
