Very willing and helpful. Do their very best for patients in a difficult sometimes overwhelming environment. I often hear people moan when I queue up to get an on the day appointment. Try getting that in any other country in the world and be grateful we have such a service...

I can't remeber the last time I dealt with the same doctor twice. 1 doctor gives you advice and medication then the next doctor refuses you medication and say they need to see you but trying to get an appointment when you work is next to impossible. That then means that the problem you had in the first place gets worse after all of the stress of trying to get better.

Absolutely useless, 2 practices I moved surgeries Years ago, however my mum loves Dr sarin and stayed with his practice, they have have DVLA medical forms for over 3 month uncompleted meaning licence will be suspended in the next week, then a week ago she needed stitches removing after surgery and surprise surprise couldn't fit her in for over 2 weeks with the nurse, so the receptionist made an appointment at longton cottage for this to be done, on arrival there discovered they don't remove stitches there and were confused why she had been sent there, what is the point in having a registered gp if all they do is fob you off to other services that can provide what you need!!!! Absolutely terrible management of their services

The reception staff are good, however, a couple of the GP's are difficult to understand for my father (81, very bright, not frail) and I have to accompany him sometimes to try and understand the diagnosis. Perhaps just a little more patience and also the slowing down of the conversation by the GP's may make it easier for patients to understand and not make repeated visits for the same issue.

Appalling service my wife as stood outside for two mornings now to get appointment, from 7.45 on Thursday morning there was one appointment and she was second in line , Friday morning same time 4th in line only 3 appointment available. This is supposed to be call on day or wait out side . HOW have all the appointments gone . I don’t understand this . Because the earliest appointment is end of October.

Im afriad that I share the sentiments of the other reviews. I have been with this surgery for 18 years and the care has declined drastically. The GP's are ok. Efficient enough. However getting to see a GP is another matter. I have resorted to taking a camping chair and sitting in the car park at 7:45am waiting for the surgery to open. It opens at 8:30am and there is usually a queue of 15-20 paitients waiting for the 5 - 10 available appointments. Everyone else is told to go to the Walk In Centre in Longton, Hanley or Haywood. I had an infection that needed anti-biotics. I had tried for 2 days to get an appointment but was told try again tomorrow". When I explained the seriousness of the infection

After years of being with this surgery I'm finally going to move to another GP. With the exception of Sandra the receptionists are rude and unhelpful. The GP service is lacking in empathy and their attention to detail is poor. Incorrect information given. Incorrect drugs prescribed just to name a couple of their failings. Retraining, restructuring and new management required to bring this back up to the high standard it used to have.

Horrible customer service, zero empathy, super unpleasant, they hang up the phone, don't care about your question or request...if they don't like that job, look for another one.I have never seen a doctor here because they always send me to Meir and everything is very good there, but the reception of this GP is absolutely Horrible.I hope they take action. Obviously I will make a formal complaint.
