Lovely little woodland, peaceful and not covered in litter. It's either a hidden gem or the local yobs don't know about it. Let's hope it stays that way!

Great location by riverside, great for taking the dog for walks, free parking a bonus. Usually quiet and good for nice leisurely walks. Even seats along the way.

Great walk, jog, bike ride or dog walk. Plenty of benches on the main path and other paths that lead off to cemetery road or round to meadow Lane. Some good spots for people keen on photography also

Hulmes Wood Nature Reserve
Lovely place for a walk! Main paths are pram and wheelchair friendly. Lots of different routes to take. Plenty of opportunities for doggy swimming and child paddling. Parking is only a small lay-by so may be full at weekends or in school holidays. The ONLY bin is at the lay-by. Benches few and far between. Lots of wildlife to see if you keep your eyes peeled.

Hulmes Wood Nature Reserve
Had a lovely walk through here with a choice of paths both man made and more natural trails. It's a shame some people think dropping litter is ok.
