Waitrose & Partners at Oxford Peartree Services

Tried speaking to Indian manager here about disabled toilets lock broken so people come in while you sit there. Toilets downstairs unusable no ventilation just a stink bomb. He did NOT want to know.

Over charged us for hot drinks out of the machine then claimed they didn't know the cup sizes. Also another of the group was given change hurriedly wrapped in the receipt when she checked the change was missing. Not an experience one would expect from Waitrose.

it's a small store, although when I searched on the net it said it was a supermarket, but it's a MINImarket, it's very small. there you don't really have anything to buy except that you have something urgent and you can stop to buy something urgently. the rest is ok.

Crisps are simply a vehicle for dip. Why then does this entire Waitrose not have a single dip option but an extravagant selection of crisps. Is a Waitrose without Hummus even a Waitrose?

When I wandered into the shop two members of staff were in the shop, one was placing items on the shelves and the other staff member was looking at the chocolate display. I wanted a Waitrose gift card but I couldn’t see any on display so I went to the checkout till to ask a member of staff. By this time they were both chatting next to the chocolate display, I waited for a couple of minutes and eventually they both attended the tills either side of me but neither of them acknowledged me. I stepped forward onto a till where a staff member was stationed and asked if they had any gift cards, “No” was the underwhelming response with no further explanation other than to gawp at me with a look of total boredom on her face, I asked to if she could verify my question and she replied “No sir”. I don’t expect to be addressed as Sir but neither do I like to feel I had gatecrashed a social conversation which I obviously wasn’t included. Total look of disinterest on their faces and their body language screamed apathy, they weren’t exactly forthcoming with any helpful information. I asked the member of staff who had been so underwhelming her name and she said “Marsha” with her face saying ‘whatever’.I replied “Wonderful service” as I departed but they both just stared at me with total contempt.

Petrol station convenience store. No fruits or vegetables

Only came in because they have a massive sign advertising their sushi. There was no sushi on the shelves. Outside of that, there was no staff.

Just snack food. Very small shop.

Never been to these services before and will give it a miss in the future. Staff in the KFC totally rude and unhelpful. And whoever designed the toilet facilities to be on the ground floor down 2 flights of stairs wants shooting.I am disabled and use a walking stick, and although there is 1 disabled toilet on the shop floor, you only need a coach load of elderly people to really put a strain on this toilet - also make sure you have a disabled key otherwise you will not get in. Also looking at mums with children in prams etc, how must they feel ??. Sorry Peartree but very disappointedwith our exoerience.

The photos are deceptive in that it hides the fact that this shop is NOT a big Waitrose.
