If you do purchase a car for the republic, make absolutely certain that paper work is done and ready. Otherwise, you'll be fine by Revenue.IE when registering for VRT.DVLA (Transport.GOV.UK) can take over 2 months to deliver a V5C Form.Nothing wrong with the car, Sales lady was very nice and did follow up nicely about paper work

Scratched up my 1yr old car when washing it along with service. Pat Kirk himself denied any responsibility, no apology, no offer to make good. Basically said I was lier. Up to this point when dealing with staff all was good until there was an issue. Judge a business on how they deal with issue. Sorry but I won’t be doing business here again Mr Kirk.

Really helpful staff. They made me so comfortable. Everyone that passed while I was waiting asked if I needed help. They explained my car issue by showing me...no jargon. They couldn't do the bodywork but told me what I needed to pass to the body shop and didn't charge for the advice. Very kind.

Andrew Crawford & his sales executive Luke Edwards in Pat Kirk Nissan were fantastic in getting our daughter sorted out with a new car when she wanted to change. From seeing the car to doing the deal it was fantastic with being kept informed of updates on the hand over , paperwork and preparation the level of service provided was flawless .All the other staff were also friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back in the future for ourselves & our son. Thanks again Andrew & Luke. ( We have known Andrew for over 5 years buying cars of him and he's a great asset to Pat Kirk in our personal opinion ).Anyone looking to buy a car at Pat Kirk should definitely contact Luke Edwards in Nissan or Andre Crawford the sales manager as you will be well looked after.

Bought a 3-year-old Golf in Strabane. My experience of both Omagh & Strabane is very poor. Prepurchase, I regret not bringing a mechanic with me or getting it checked over post purchase. During test drive, I pointed out the battery key needed replaced and the brake disks were rough. I knew they weren’t servicing my car as they had serviced it 3 months beforehand. I was assured the car would be fully inspected however. Upon collection, when I started up the car, battery key warning light still remained. No big issue but I was dubious how a mechanic/valeter could inspect/wash a car and not spot the dash light. The battery key did get changed that day whilst we went to the nearby shops. Other precollection issues: At initial phone enquiry, I was told the car had a full-service history. When I went to view the car, the service book could not be found, and they could only provide paperwork for the service they did 3 months prior and an oral history for before that. They kept saying all service histories are gone digital yet couldn’t print me out this digital history. I suggested they order a new service book off VW. I then went to Belfast to get the prior services filled in after purchase. After doing the deal, I realised the car had no mudflaps. An understandable extra charge; but one I was overcharged for. I said nothing on the day as there'd already been enough delays with the battery key. 3 months later and my first service was due. By just looking at the car, my mechanic could see the rear pads were worn to nothing and disks corroded. I then noticed the service they last did said 20% rear pads remained on the invoice. I called Omagh to enquire and was told 20% is loads on a Golf. I then contacted 2 VW dealerships to ask when they change pads. Both said between 20 and 30%. Contacting Strabane sales, the response was ‘you have a warranty with the car’. Then realising brakes aren’t covered under their 3rd party warranty I was told sorry ’nothing they can do’. Being surprised how a car was sold in this condition, all the salesperson could say was 'they knew nothing about brakes' and the car was originally an Omagh car and I’d have to contact them. Here I was passed from Strabane sales to Omagh sales, Omagh service and Omagh management over a number of weeks for a simple brake issue. When Omagh contacted me, they clearly stated ‘they won’t be putting any pads or disks on my car’. All they could refer to was the miles I covered in the car and not explain why the car was sold in that condition. When they realised my car was due a service, the offered to replace the rear pads and disks free if I paid £300 for a service. Declining this offer, they now wanted to 'inspect the car' despite me sending pics. This was no issue. Here, they noted the rear disk corrosion but stated rear pads had now 40% remaining. The Service manager said he'd have to speak with senior management and would call me Monday. I said I'd been messed about for 3 weeks now and could he not go into his ‘senior management’ in the office next door. At this point, myself and father were brought into the senior managers office. I’ve never met a more patronising and rude man. His attitude was ‘who did we think we were’ stating ‘he employs managers to deal with people like us’. The manner in which we were berated was uncalled for considering how courteous, realistic, and fair I had been at all times. That Monday I got a call to say as a gesture of goodwill, they would cover ‘only’ the rear disks. I'd have to pay for the rear pads + 1 hr labour (£129). Without any goodwill, my own mechanic quoted me the same price using VW parts. Losing all trust and credibility I got the work done myself. My mechanic confirmed that both front&rear disks&pads needed replaced. I pursued the small claims court and got awarded full judgment. Payment was not received within the judgment timeframe. After engaging a solicitor, full payment was then received. The only small thing is their extended used car warranty is very good. To date, its covered 2 rear shocks+ a full timing belt kit.

Just a terrible car dealershipI Bought an Audi A6 for £14250 from pat Kirk strabane on Oct 13th 2020 and initially things went well with the sale, Stephanie the sales person I dealt with was great. I knew the car from the previous owner so knew that the car was in excellent condition except both side skirts had a small issue with peeling lacquer and I asked them to fix both before I travelled from Banbridge to buy the car, a week later the car was ready so up I went to sign for the car and after a quick look around it I signed all the papers and was on my way, I stopped in Omagh for a coffee and to get a closer look at the work they’d done only to discover only one of the side skirts had been repaired so I phoned Stephanie and she said they thought it was only one side that had to be done but it would be sorted and the car had to be booked in again which meant another journey to Strabane in November, then during my first week driving the car I noticed the clutch and gearbox wasn’t as it should be but as I had an Autoguard warranty with the car I wasn’t too worried so the car was left up on the 9th November to get the other skirt done and investigate the clutch issue, eventually they replaced the clutch and flywheel and fixed the other skirt and I arrived up at 5pm to pick the car up on wed 18th, as it was dark I couldn’t look at the job they’d done So the next morning I got up to wash the car and inspect they work only to find they had curbed 2 of my polished alloys and tried to hide it with silver paint then I noticed around the fuel flap that the red paint was worn off so I got a local body shop to look at it and in his opinion the rear driver side 1/4 panel had been recently painted and they had messed up around the fuel flap with masking etc, there was nothing wrong with the 1/4 panel or the alloys when the car was given to them so what happened to my car? this explained to me all the evasive phone calls/messages I got when I kept asking why it was taking so long to have my car returned to me,of course they are basically calling me a liar and denying that they did anything wrong and refuse to accept any responsibility for any of it but the pictures don’t lie, they did say bring the car up again and they’ll fix the wheels with silver paint, really!! I am now left with a bill for £205 to fix the alloys and every time I wash the car I have to colour around the fuel flap with a red marker until I can get it repaired, I judge people by what they do when things go wrong and in this instance they failed, I know they are annoyed that the car needed a clutch and flywheel so soon after Selling me the car but this was not my fault as they took the car in on trade in so should have known this. So I won’t be recommending pat Kirk to anyone and I wouldn’t take a free car of them never mind buy of them again.update on 15/3/21 I see they have replied below to this review at last but still refuse to do anything about it and I notice another recent customer has suffered similar treatment, they dont care once they have your money.
