Thank you so much Darren for literally being the best Photographer we could have wished for! Having first seen you in action several years ago at a friends wedding, we had kept your card safe for when the time came and we’re so glad we did!From start to finish Darren was an absolute pleasure. Meeting up to discuss our ideas we knew immediately that you were the perfect choice!We had a pre wedding photo shoot at our venue at Darren’s recommendation which was a great way of calming our camera nerves before the big day.On the day itself Darren basically felt like one of our guests and was so helpful whilst we were getting ready in the morning (he even came to the rescue with some body tape!).As if all of that isn’t it praise enough we haven’t even gotten to how incredible Darren’s photos are - we are so pleased with our final pictures and Darren even managed to get a number of them to us even within a few days before we went off on Honeymoon.We can’t recommend enough!

Where do we begin?! If you're looking for someone to capture your wedding day in an extraordinary way - look no further! Darren's work caught our eye in the early stages of our planning due its unique nature and his obvious passion for what he does - just go and follow him on Instagram to see! I had always wished for a photographer that was discrete yet attentive and wow, he was that and more! From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable - with his laid-back but energetic attitude, on the day he captured all the traditional shots but most importantly, those moments where we were just having the most amazing time, not realising our photo was being taken! We chose to have a video as well as photos and we're so glad that we did! Our video tells a story, one we want to keep reliving, which thanks to Darren, we can! Unbeknown to us, we were fortunate enough to be Darren's 400th wedding! To mark this very special milestone in his wedding calendar, he so generously gifted us an album - thank you so much Darren, it is truly stunning and we're so grateful for your unexpected, kind gesture. Darren is quite possibly the best photographer I've come across. My wife and I used Darren because we'd seen his work at other weddings and when my wife was bridesmaid before, he would always introduce himself, take note on sensitive areas for photography, but more importantly everyone felt comfortable around him.We hired Darren for our wedding in January and we couldn't recommend him highly enough, the photos were amazing, the communication throughout was constant, which is perfect because you've got enough to worry about without suppliers not getting back to you.At the wedding, as well as taking his own photos, Darren would catch guests that are taking photos on their phones, and take it for them. It's only a little thing, but it goes a long way.We left our wedding with all our guests asking who our photographer was.All round great guy, amazing photographer and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for capturing our day and making it look so stunning.

Darren was amazing! All of our photos are great and we will cherish them forever. We also had our speeches recorded, it’s really nice to be able to listen back and it brings back such good memories of the day.Really nice touch with the packaging. The wooden box is great and makes it really special and sentimental.On the day Darren went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Not only a great photographer but a great guy. Would definitely recommend Darren to anyone planning a wedding or event they wish to be photographed.

To sum this review up in one line, book Darren immediately. You will not regret it.We had Darren for our wedding in March having encountered him at my sister-in-law's wedding. He was a joy to deal with on that day and the photos he produced for their wedding were stunning. When we embarked on our own wedding planning we kept going back to Darren's photos and no other photographer lived up to his product.The booking process was really simple. We had some lovely chats with him in preparation for the day and he really made us feel at ease, both in the build up and on the day itself. The final collection of photos blew us away, especially considering it was a venue he had no experience with, showing his willingness to take on any challenge and ability to adapt.One final point, we ended up going for a wedding video as well, and it's seriously worth the added expense. Our is a really emotional watch, even just a month down the line. The editing is superb and the shots capture the emotion of the day even better than any photos could. To add to this, it's imperative that I mention Darren's extra talents. My wife and myself are musicians and we had a clear vision of how music would fit into our day and in the video itself. Darren writes and records the music for his films and I can't emphasise enough how much he nails the feel and the emotions of your day. We had the lovely personal addition of a poem he wrote for our trailer (find it on his social media) which was beautiful.All very long winded and if you made it this far, I hope that you have a wonderful event and I can't think of anyone better to capture it for you, than Darren.

We couldn't feel more lucky to have had Darren capture our wedding day!The energy he brought was just sublime - the perfect combination of incredible people skills, whilst also blending in perfectly to the setting. Darren allowed us to have our day, whilst capturing the moments perfectly through his authentic style.We are over the moon with the quality of the images and videos, but also with how he managed to understand us as people and communicate this with his craft. The fact that he composes his own music to accompany the videos too, is just so special.We are super super grateful - a day that goes by so quickly, but we are able to hold onto these memories so beautifully because of his work. I never thought I'd be pleased to say that our original photographer's cancelled on us 4 weeks before our wedding but...that led us to Darren! Darren was more than a photographer to us on our wedding day back in April, he was friendly, approachable, helpful (he even did put on everyone's buttonholes for them!) and more like a friend to us. We had so many fantastic compliments throughout the day and still now about how great Darren was. As we booked Darren so close to our wedding we weren't able to take full advantage of his photography package so he kindly offered to put together a 2 minute wedding video for us which is just beautiful. Darren's work is exceptional, capturing love and laughter perfectly. Darren, thank you SO much, I only wished we had you booked all along! xxx

The best photographer you could ask for!We first contacted Darren just over a year before our wedding day in April 23. Having shortlisted a couple of photographers we decided to meet.We were instantly impressed by Darren’s approach. He showed us some of his portfolio and could see that he took truly beautiful photos but instead of talking about lighting, exposure and other technical stuff, he walked us through the psychology of what we would be going through on the day and how he would fit in with that. We booked him without hesitation.In the lead up to the wedding he was responsive, helpful and even did a pre-wedding shoot to help get us comfortable in front of the camera.The day came and throughout we were thoroughly impressed with how interacted with us, the guests and suppliers. Making everyone feel comfortable, taking beautiful photos and even taking on the role of herding guests! We also received loads of compliments about Darren from our guests!We had rain and cloud all day which obviously makes the light a challenge, especially in a big country house so we had lowered our expectations with the photos. We really needn’t have.Before the end of the night he had WhatsApped through a sneak preview of about 20 absolutely stunning shots and in the days that followed he uploaded plenty to his website to give us and our guests a few to look at. We received our USB stick with all photos and a few prints within 3 weeks of the wedding day.The photos attached speak for themselves but what is really impressive about Darren is how he guides you through and makes you feel on the day. Not to mention, he’s a genuinely great person as well!

I’ve been following Darren’s work for years and I had no doubt in my mind when I wanted to choose our wedding photographer. I don’t think we even looked at anyone else as after the first meeting, we loved Darren and his work! He makes you feel so comfortable and so easy to work with as you barely notice him there he’s just getting snaps of the best moments! The details and the visions he has is truly amazing, the photos we’ve had back have been so incredible and I can’t wait to see the rest and our film! Would highly recommend and would use again in the future for anything!

We had Darren as our wedding videographer and photographer! From the moment we contacted him, he couldn’t have been more helpful! My husband isn’t the best in-front of the camera but from the photos we have you wouldn’t have know. He made us and all our guest feel so relax and gave us the best memories to look back on. His work is incredible, would recommend 100 times over! Thank you Darren! Hopefully we will see you at friends weddings in the future!
