Amazing staff, super helpful!Working super hard and always there if help is needed, not only for flat related issues but will have a genuine chat and help you out where possible. Will go out their way to make you feel welcome and supported. Truly deserve the 5* stars!

The staff are inappropriate and rude. The hot water doesn't work most of the time. Water in general had been turned off multiple times. The pipes leaked and destroyed electronics and made the building unsafe to live in. The fire alarms are faulty and go off multiple times a week. Water had come out of the tap brown. The beds are extremely uncomfortable.Do not pick this accommodation if you want to enjoy university.

Definitely the worst accommodation to stay in. Everything breaks, the lifts are always out of order and at some points there are none working at all for weeks at a time. Our flat door never locks so anyone can walk in and it never gets fixed. Rules are strict and you can get put on a warning for anything, which is good because you would rather get kicked out than have to spend a whole year in this place. Dont ruin your whole uni experience by staying here.

pretty good student accommodation. the location itself is very good and it’s easy to get into town and such. it’s also easy to get back to if you’ve gone out clubbing. only had a few issues while living there but the staff were good like 99% of the time and a lovely bunch of people. they were helpful and polite and had pretty nice conversations with them. they always said good morning to me when i left for work on the weekends. the lifts were constantly broken so was sort of frustrating considering we were on a fairly high up floor and I ended up getting stuck in two of them, one in which we had to be rescued but not a fault on their part really, it’s a fault on the lifts. the only thing i would personally say was negative was the situation about owing them money. i owed them 1p and i’m not exaggerating it was genuinely 1p and one of the staff told me if i didn’t pay it i would get all my wi-fi and such shut up. i wasn’t aware i had to pay it and obviously was more than willing considering money owed is money owed but the threat itself didn’t feel entirely necessary. another issue was the fridge breaking and losing a lot of food which was extremely costly as we had a lot in there. these things happen however it took them quite a while to come fix it, to the point where the food wasn’t salvageable at that point as a lot of it was meat. aside from that, the accommodation was extremely social and by far the most social out of the selection of accommodation. the accommodation itself was also pretty nice.i really enjoyed living there and would genuinely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in halls of residence.

I hope this helps you before you consider this as your accommodation. At the beginning, fire alarms were off every week, sometimes twice a week even late at night, which scares and is really annoying. There have been problems with the hot water since the beginning. Some people were without it for 3 days. My flat's door was broken for a whole week until they fixed it, allowing anybody to enter into my flat. Also, I bought a topper for my bed because it's really uncomfortable. Also, one of the lifts is broken many times. It has some good things as well but you should have these in mind.

If you are someone who has a fear of creepy crawlies, DO NOT COME HERE!! In the bathrooms, silverfish (yes, silverfish), like to roam and make themselves home on the floor, which provides a massive surprise for you whenever you want to go to the toilet or have a shower. If you consider bugs to be your companions then I guess you have nothing to worry about, but nevertheless, it's a factor that just shouldn't exist in student accommodations and is a problem that should have been fixed long ago due to other complaints-but still haven't. Also, I have no idea where they come from. I myself aren't a fan of insects AT ALL and although I live in a studio flat by myself, I didn't see them as happy roommates to keep me company, in fact, their presence alone was enough to conceive utter nightmares in my sleep that haven't subsided but has instead left me permanently scarred even after I decide to move out. If this insect is a new concept to you as it was to me, and you are curious to see what silverfish look like, you can look them up but I advise first to mentally prepare yourselves.I also want to point out that the maintenance team (the men who come into your room to check that everything is running well e.g. plumbing etc.) have the habit of coming in unannounced into your flat, which serves a problem especially since they have the master key which allows them to open the door and invite themselves in anyways, even if you don't answer after they knock. Again, I live in a studio flat so I am exposed in the sense that the main door is my only door essentially, so I could have literally been coming out of the shower naked and they would have walked in on me. I believe that this is a massive violation of privacy and that people shouldn't feel that they can barge themselves in without permission into someone's room, also adding that I'm a girl, when the door hasn't been answered yet. Also, they usually come unannounced in the morning so the reason why I sometimes can't answer the door is because I'm trying to get out of bed, and then proceed to have to wait for them to do what they have to do while in my pyjamas. (really embarrassing)

This was the state of my room when I moved in. There was a leaking toilet, STICKY stains on the carpet and what looked like damp on the ceiling of the shower. The toilet was eventually fixed after a week but I had to clean the carpet myself. The stains on the bathroom ceiling have been reported but nothing has been done. Aside from the state of the room the location is very good. Only a 10 minute walk from the town centre and a 15 minute bus ride to Talbot campus. SOME of the staff are very friendly and supportive on reception and have been a great help, there have been the odd times I've felt a little patronised but I haven't felt that recently. This may have been a one off bad experience but I'd say come and look at the flats before you move in so you don't have to go through what I did!

Overall, decent place to stay for your first year. Right near everything with Tesco right outside the door and Asda down the road, clubs across the road. Nice common area, good facilities plenty of washing machines and dryers, 3 lifts so you can always get up and down fast. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The Flat. The flat is alright, but just alright, the room itself is fairly spacious with a nice sized en-suite, the bed is pretty terrible, not at all comfortable. The kitchen from my experience is probably the worst part, the over is so worn and old cant even see temperature settings, the extraction fan is squeaky and does work great and there was a fair amount of damage to everything already upon moving in (Sofas worn so much, fridge has stab marks in it???) but overall generally decent place to stay.

Grime Regis is a wonderful accommodation if you hate yourself. Aside from the double beds and the kitchen with enough room (given we only have 4/5 rooms filled), this place is terrible.- Leaking windows in rooms and in the kitchen, water coming out of the seal after you close the window and it's been raining. Pooling onto the desk where you will presumably have all of your expensive technology. In the kitchen, the window leaks regardless of whether it's been open and closed and it's raining. Water collecting in the corner and lifting up the vinyl flooring, water dripping through the ceiling from the room above, and a damp stain in the corner from it. This is clearly a prevalent issue in the building as when I complained they informed me they had been notified of it. They said they are working on getting a contractor" in
