We went there for lunch before the math. The food was play, not amazing for the price. The wines that they offered were quite nice though. They do have gluten free bread if you ask. The rest of the menu was not very informative on the dietary requirement. It is Set menu but quite restricted with the choices.

Spacious cafe with various food and beverage options. The staff is very friendly. On the centre court and next to the Wimbledon Museum. The strawberries, a classic in Wimblendon, was delicious! I also have a salad that was ok. I don’t like the Pimm’s.

Wimbledon 2023: disappointing lunch at The Wingfield. What's happened to The Wingfield this year!?We've enjoyed so many wonderful lunches here during Wimbledon. Up until this year, the food, service, and atmosphere have always been exemplary. However, this visit was disappointingly substandard in comparison. The restaurant itself was sectioned off and reduced in size quite significantly: internally and over the terrace area, making the space feel cramped and lacking in atmosphere. The food was not at all what we've come to expect. In fact, there was at least one unpleasant element within each one of the three courses. And/or some item or ingredient was missing from a plate as described on the menu. The 'ham ballotine' starter being particularly unpalatable: tough, chewy, and fusty in taste. My cod main course was undercooked and raw in the centre. The celery was missing from the cheese plate - and the grapes on it were sad and bitter... (Which is exactly how I felt after our lunch!)My guess is that there'll be some similarly negative feedback from others. I sincerely hope that whoever is responsible for what's gone wrong this year, is held accountable. And that by next year, the normal high levels at The Wingfield are resumed.

The food is fresh and they have a variety of dishes, hot or cold. Drinks from Coffee to Wine. Pleasant atmosphere whether your dining inside or outside, depending on the weather. Staff are friendly and polite!

Champagne Afternoon Tea at the Wingfield. What better treat to break up 7 hours of tennis spectating.Everything fresh, substantial and tasty. Our service was excellent. Keen, enthusiastic young waiter, on a gap year, full of wit and charm. This place is a treat during those 2 special Wimbledon weeks. No complaints.A year later: tried the early lunch menu. From about noon onwards. Finished in perfect time for Centre Court. Three course meal with unlimited wine, water and coffee. Mains of Cod and Chicken pictured.Again, friendly and prompt service. An expensive treat but well worth it to make the day that little bit extra special and memorable.

We had an underwhelming lunch here after a guided tour - a couple sandwiches and some hot drinks that were all slightly overpriced. We were hoping to try the strawberries and cream but they were not listed on the menu even though they were available at the register. We didn't see them before we filled up on lunch which was so mediocre that we decided to forego any dessert.
