The service here could be so much better. Staff are far more concerned with picking up their deliveroo and just eat orders that you would get quicker service ordering from those apps and waiting outside. Shame.

Lunchtime - 1 couple at till being served. 1 female employee loitering behind counter (maybe trainee?!) unsure as she said nothing to me at all! Another employee appeared at the back and asked if I was being served finally! Very nice girl. However, not another employees in sight, in fact we joked that she seemed to be alone. Then another employee came to finish my order as they’re supposed to do in that tag team style. Some of the salad veg was being kept too cold and I could see it was frozen in places e.g the cucumber, red onion and lettuce. I then went to get a dispenser drink which had no concentrate in. Who checks quality in these franchises?

Just wanted a latte. Milk was off curdling in the cup. Staff was very unresponsive to even trying to replace it and just said it was fine. Another customer lost.

Absolutely terrible service, food, enviroment, everything.Sub made incorrectly.Crumbs and mess every square inch of the floor.Customer service staff have ZERO customer service skills/social skills.Absolutely appalling.

Love this subway! I come to Colchester every weekend and my trip will not be complete without having the freshness of the food provided from this subway, I tend to always get my subways takeaway however the ambience of this subway is one of the finest I’ve been to. Very modern and clean! Sit in is a must!

The staff was so nice. I got a meatball sub with chips and drink and cookie. The food was fresh and the staff was lovely and fun to talk to!

Made me wait 15 mins before making my order, the guy serving was very rude and didn’t even let me select my bread, sauce or salad. Worst subway I’ve ever been to.

I only gave one star because I received the right drink and chips. My question is, what happened to my salad! Can I have more salad with my salad please? It looks like a child that hates their veg made it. Subway should be ashamed with this and the portion sizing for someone having a salad for lunch. This was not a snack but a lunch on so far the hottest day this year. I defo want a refund for this sorry excuse that you call a salad.
