Absolutely lovely stay worth every penny if you’re looking for somewhere close to donegal but also not too far from Northern Ireland (ie, giants causeway the UK parts). My husband and I did the couples spa package with the mud treatment and it was quite the experience! The massage therapists are very attentive and we both had dramatically different experiences meaning the therapists truly listen to you and cater the treatments to your needs. My therapist, Tanya, explained what type of facial she thought would be best for my skin type (she knew before I even told her which I loved) and gave me heads up when pressure would change or a hot element would be introduced to the massage (like hot oil or hot towels). I was so relaxed I actually even fell asleep in the lounge area even before the massage!

Had a few beautiful days here, but it was those few days that were very hot weather. The hotel where great and give us a fan which helped cool the room. The staff could not be any more nicer and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. I would definitely stay here again to travel around this location.

The restaurant serves vile, tasteless, fried and processed food. Prefect or customers who want pizza with a side of factory processed chips and two days of calories in one sitting. We are visiting vegetarians and like to eat well and healthily. There isn’t even a salad without meat on the menu. Is there any pride or love for food in Donegal. Why would anyone pay for this?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Villa Rose and indulging in their carvery dinner. I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the door into the room where the carvery was set up, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly welcome. One standout aspect of our visit was the remarkable service provided by Michelle. She went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was unforgettable. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our comfort were truly commendable. What impressed us the most was how she interacted with our little ones. Michelle was absolutely fabulous with them, making them feel special and ensuring they had an enjoyable time. Her exceptional service added an extra touch of warmth and made the entire dining experience even more memorable. Now, let's talk about the food. The carvery at Villa Rose was simply outstanding. The wide variety of dishes available catered to all tastes and preferences. The quality of the food was top-notch, with each item being cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh and flavorful, and the accompaniments were delicious. It was evident that great care had been taken in the preparation and presentation of the dishes. The attention to detail and the overall ambiance of the restaurant created an atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence. The combination of excellent service, delectable food, and a welcoming environment made our dining experience at Villa Rose truly exceptional. In conclusion, I highly recommend the carvery dinner at Villa Rose. The exceptional food, warm atmosphere, and outstanding service provided by Michelle makes it must-visit destination. Whether you're looking for a memorable family outing or a delightful dining experience, Villa Rose is sure to exceed your expectations.

Absolutely love this place. Management and staff so friendly. My husband had to get up early to go to a funeral and this was before breakfast time. The staff made him a cooked breakfast before he headed off. We where at the Italian night and my god what a fabulous evening good food , music and wine to accompany each course. Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Rose. We were on an over 55s minibreak. All staff we had contact with were helpful, courteous and friendly. The facilities in the spa were excellent. We booked an hour in the hydro therapy suite which was a great experience
