Well pleased with my t-shirt embroidery work today. Reasonably priced for personalising clothes gifts. I should not have left it to the last minute but I had no choice. I searched locally in Croydon but couldn't find any business who is willing to finish it sameday and understand my inquiry. Thank you katie

I visited few local tailors before I decided to get measured for 3 suits by them, I chose different cloth colours and styles. It took the tailor over an hour to help me decide all details. I had to pay in advance and promised 2 fitting dates. Eventually and instead of the 2 promised visits Mr Fadi decided to stretch them to 3 fittings and 4 weeks more! I got my suits now, two suits fitted perfectly and I love while the summer grey suit I am still not sure about. The tailor said its because of the flimsy cloth I selected. Overall satisfying experience if you are patient. I personally got worried if the tailor was going to ask for more time to complete as I needed to travel abroad.

I visited the Village Tailor yesterday with a shirt I had torn. Diane fixed it for me in an hour!! I couldn't believe what a good job she did. It's perfect. She's an angel and really lovely to deal with. Thanks so much.

this was literally a life saver! I am attending a wedding in a week and had to get my dress altered in time, and was so worried it wouldn’t get done, but they had it ready in less than a week and it’s perfect! thank you so much, i really appreciate this and will come back if i ever need something else tailored!

I have now had two bridesmaids dresses altered by the superb team at the Village Tailors and I cannot recommend them enough.They’re magicians with needle and thread - I wouldn’t go anywhere else for alterations!The cosy shop and family atmosphere only add to their charm.

Don’t listen to their opening times waste of a journey, says they are open on Sunday so I took a trip down to get a suit altered and they were closed no answer from the number on the site thanks that’s an hour of my Sunday wasted

First i walked in a blond young girl told me she is a trainee, i then realised that she is actually really good throughout the fitting and finalising serving us, my daughter liked her and asked me to leave her a good review. The stitching was not done by her but the work was outstanding. if you have a prom dress that you ordered online and turn up not as expected you should take it to them, i went through many good and silly reviews but I must recommend this place.

I can not fault them. I needed quick last minute alterations for my bridesmaid dresses. They quickly responded and fitted my in with a fitting appointment and had my bridesmaid dress altered to perfection within two days. The price was very reasonable for both the quality and efficiency of the alterations. Would definitely recommend to everyone nearby
