One star is too high for this Company. Extremely disappointed, ordered same top twice in error, sent email to try to cancel one, it was ignored. When both tops came they were not suitable, had to pay to send back in post, only got refund for one, have emailed since about other refund, no reply and cannot get call answered at customer services. AVOID!!!

I’d like to make a formal very serious complaint about the manageress of the Canvey store. Never before have I ever been screamed at like this!I visited the Peacocks store at approximately 1.40pm to make two returns, one purchased previously in store and one online which I have never done before. The sale assistant who initially served me couldn’t have been more helpful but was unsure how to do an online return. The Manageress came over and was not only rude to me, but her staff. She refused to accept the online return with the printed return, as I hadn’t realised I needed the original order form. It was annoying but fait enough, however her mannerism was extremely rude and she totally ignored me and told her assistant to delete the return.I left the store and as I was walking to the car, I text my daughter and asked her to photograph the form and send it to me. This she did and so I walked back into the store and explained my daughter had sent me a photo of the order form and that the price and order number which they needed, were clearly visible. The sales assistant explained she was meant to be leaving at 2pm but that the Manageress was upstairs and asked me to wait.After waiting a few minutes, with no sign of the manageress, the sales assistant asked to look at the form on my phone and said all the necessary information was there and said she’d have a go at doing the return. She took all my details and the refund was up on the card reader. Suddenly the Manageress appeared and waved me away and blankly said “No!” Without even so much as looking at me, she spoke to the lady and said I’d have to go home and get the paperwork!I work in retail myself and this is NOT the way to speak to customers. I tried to explain that the info requested was on my phone but she literally waved me away again and totally dismissed me.So I left, drove home and returned with the piece of paper. By this time, the original sales assistant had left for the day and so I was served by this ‘Manageress’. The time was 2.05pm. There was no apology or explanation, she basically barked questions at me with no smile, please or thank you. As I left, I remarked it was a shame that high street stores are closing and it’s down to bad customer services by people like her, I said she clearly wasn’t happy about working New Years Day and she shouted “No, I’m not, thanks to customers like you! “ with a sarcastic smile on her face.So I walked back in and politely asked for her name as I work in retail myself and I would be putting in a formal complaint, she shouted over the counter no that I was not having her name, I asked again and explained she wasn’t wearing any form of ID or name badge and I’d like her name. She shouted “this is MY shop and I can do what I like!” “If you work in retail like you say you do, you’d know I don’t need to wear one!” I’m sorry but I do work in retail and she should be wearing one. Although with her attitude I’m not surprised she chooses not to identify herself.So I then proceeded to take my phone out and I took her photo so I had a description to send to head office. At this point, she literally screamed at me at the top of her voice to delete that photo and as I was walking out the shop she came running round from behind the counter and got right up in my face screaming and demanding I delete the photo and screaming for security! I honestly thought she was going to assault me! The gentleman who works as a security guard in Knightswick came over and I tried to explain but she was screaming so much and by this time people were stopping so I thought it better to walk away. As I turned around she was still stood there screaming happy new year in a sarcastic voice. I am lost for words. This is not a good representation of Peacocks. I have shopped here for many years but will never set foot in this store again. I’ve just looked online and this is not the first complaint about this woman. It’s disgusting and disappointing that this bully even works dealing with the generalpublic.

Absolute rubbish returns policy.Did all online, got return code, went to store as don’t want to pay to return only to be told as I paid by PayPal I can’t return in store for a refund I have to pay to return it!No where when I clicked pay by PayPal did it warn me that this type of transaction can’t be refunded in store as if it did I would have used my card. I use PayPal online everywhere and never had this trouble as they just refund it to PayPal.Will definitely not buy online from peacocks again

The online customer service is appalling. They are rude and clearly do not care about their customers. They reply as if there is some word limit, short and snarky. You get a very cold and unwelcoming response like you are just annoying them. I got injured due to a courier they use and they did not care. They offered a replacement for one damaged item but then wanted me to send back the other item that was damaged for a refund and said they couldn't replace it?!. Not professional or friendly.

Been waiting on a refund since March keep being told they can see the trousers were sent back but still no refund. Absolutely disgusted with lack of service. Bunch of thieves by the looks of other reviews.

I'm going to have to go through the appropriate channels to get my money back. I did an online order. Charged me for a coat that didn't show up on the delivery note and never received. They have basically stole my money. It was a sale coat but not the point. Emailed, telephoned but being ignored. I'm even considering going to the papers to expose them. I'm not usually a drama queen but this service is disgusting and I'm so angry. Never again!!!! Avoid them online if you want your money taken but no goods.

I’m TRYING to upgrade my service but I keep getting an error message. Amazon says it isn’t on their end. No amount of searching their help engine has yielded any kind of help or anything close to it! I need to speak to a human to find out what the problem is! I guess peacock doesn’t need anymore business!

Ordered an item with Peacocks in December I never received an email to say my item had been delivered to my local store but went on the off chance to see if it had been delivered, because of the lack of communication From peacocks even though emailing a numerous of times I returned the item, this was at the beginning of January. Well it’s now the 28th January, no refund and no communication, terrible customer service. Your more than welcome to contact me regarding this matter even though I have sent emails requesting a reply but as to date I have received nothing, poor service poor communication. I didn’t want to give a 1 star but 0 star was not an option if it was I would have given 0 starPlease give me my refund

Our 17yr old daughter was contacted via phone and verbally invited to an in-branch interview on 30/05/2022 at the Ammanford store by Jane Hanock. Following a successful online job application.After agreeing verbally and re confirming location and time due to not receiving any written invite. Our daughter arrived promptly at 5pm only be humiliated in front of branch staff by Jane Hanock exclaiming they had agreed to a 12pm interview without any recourse or feedback.As a Ltd Company this situation was handled very inappropriately and unprofessionally.A valuable lesson for any potential employee. Get an invite in writing! Peacock's Area managers appear more interested in making their staff laugh by belittling and alienating customers whom apply for a career.Get Outlook for Android

Treat you like a theif when they make a mistake by not doing a gift card correctly. Then customer care treat you the same even though they can see there is money on a card that can't be used. Customer care need some more training
