Great if you are into outdoor sport and need some kit.

Awful shop. I was ignored completely by the sales assistant whose eye I was trying to catch while looking at coats so eventually I walked up the shop and she begrudgingly came to help. I am a larger size and she told me I would be better off on the Internet as they didn't keep many in the shop. I explained I preferred to try on. Many of the coats are high up so you need ladders to see them. I asked if they had any to try, she pulled a 3xl off the rack and just walked off. Most of the coats are on wall mounted rails high up so the customer can't get them themselves, they need an assistant, so I thought she had gone to fetch some more or get ladders to look through the others but then I realised she had actually gone to do something else. Eventually the assistant manager did come to help after he had finished serving on the till and he was fine but in the end I left and bought one elsewhere.Pretty pointless hanging the stock high up where ladders are needed if you are going to employ staff who don't want to deal with customers.Definitely won't be returning

I bought walking boots and really tried hard to break them in. Never had trouble before with similar boots. After 2 months of trying and wear I resigned myself to buying a new pair. When I mentioned in the shop that I hadnt been able to break the boots in, the staff member asked if I had them with me. They were in the boot of the car luckily and I had a receipt on email. They offered to exchange free of charge. What a service and really friendly helpful staff.

Great prices, my last buy was on 6th Jan 23, mens hiking boots voyage, very comfortable and wasn't expensive,I have wide feet and they fit, didn't need to break them in as they was comfortable from the start, I would buy them again, probably look at the shoes in the voyage as well.

Went to browse round this morning, staff looked miserable, no smile, no good morning or asked if I needed any help.Week before I was stood waiting ages to be served and had to go and get someone from the back office who I could hear talking.Staff are clearly miserable and unhappy.A manakin was laid on the floor, I commented that I thought it looked like a real body guy with glasses who was dressing it ( had glasses on) gave me such a dirty look I had to leave the shop…. And I won’t return, horrible atmosphere with unhappy and unmotivated staff…just awful

Brilliant service received today. A very big thank you to Emma whom really helped my daughter get all kitted out for Duke of Edinburgh. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit this store for good quality gear and excellent customer service.
