Found this place by accident (was heading for Hockley Arts) so happy we did though. The music was so good! And there was a great deck area with DJ. I danced all night.I will be back next time I'm on a night out in Notts.

Wow! This place is awesome - very cool, amazing decor and a lovely selection of drinks. Nice friendly staff and a great place to chill.A little hidden bit well worth hunting down

I'm visiting Nottingham on holiday and I went into poison bar, all of the staff were so nice, lively and welcoming! They made me a drink and it completely hit the spot, it was exactly what I asked for and more. If you are looking for a great bar with knowledgeable staff who can help you have a great time then look no further than this bar! My friends and I had the best time. We were served by maddy and James, they were so awesome big shout out to them! We will definitely be back on our next trip :)

Cool decoration, however no cocktail menu and limited choice of cocktails. Decent value though.

Had a very nice cocktail here on a recent night out. Bar area is lovely, great to sit by the window and people-watch out to Hockley. Cocktails were really good and service was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered an Old Fashioned which should have come with Woodford Reserve, but instead Jack Daniel’s was used (without anyone asking me if this was ok - it wasn’t!). When I questioned it, the response was we don’t have any Woodford Reserve. I was charged the same amount for it, despite it not being as it should. This really isn’t good enough for a customer experience, it’s pretty basic stuff. Don’t offer products that can’t be delivered with the ingredients advertised. Beyond the bar area, the place has a very unfinished feel. The walk to the toilets was pretty bad, it felt like an abandoned building. Two toilets out of order and no hand dryer in the working one.
