This place is a must see". One of the great hangout hot spots of the region. Stacked ceiling to floor with every kind of toy for grown up boys and girls. The atmos' inside is electric. People travel from miles around just to catch the "vibe". If you have not been go now. Just do it."

Today I visited B&Q in Yeovil to purchase a number of products, not being a natural decorator, I had to ask at least 4 or 5 different staff members for help.Each of the staff were extremely helpful especially the lady who last assisted me, just wish I got her name!!Thank you so much for the first class service I received & a number of bargains to!!

I purchased some ground spikes that where too small, which was my mistake. I returned the unused ground spikes to the store on the same day I purchased them to be confronted by a member of staff, accusing me of trying to de-fraud the store!Am I sure I purchased them recently, as the spikes appear used?The receipt dated the same date of purchase, yet due to corrosion he felt I had been using them for some time. I reminded him that they store the spikes in their garden centre, outside. He also said one boot had a feather on it. The barcodes where all scanned around an hour before the return along with other items we had not returned, despite this he kept the receipt which I did not realise, so now we cannot return any other items listed, if required.Payment by card, he issued the refund to a credit note. They did not stock the right size spikes and credit notes cannot be refunded either, so £50 down.... accused of fraud....made to feel like a criminal in front of a busy store.... zero apology!I needed the spikes, so went to Wickes instead!

We went to buy plants. There was a good selection, but many were in poor condition due to lack of water. The roses had many dead leaves. All the plants were reduced by 20%, but I still wouldn't pay £20 for a shrivelled rose bush. The Blueberry bushes berries were also shrivelled. In this hot weather, the plants need to be watered well, but the soil in the pots was dry as a bone, indicating they hadn't been watered sufficiently. I was told by a member of staff that many plants are being thrown away. Why not offer them to customers at a low price and avoid waste?

Nice big store, had what I was looking for, which is not always the case with other DIY stores. This will be my go-to place now.

The only reason for 3 stars is that it's too big to walk around if you have mobility problems. Otherwise it would be 4 stars. Staff are friendly and very helpful staff. 1 star off as they have implemented more self scan and only one checkout with a human open. Wouldn't have been a problem but self service didn't take cash and the majority there wanted to pay cash.

Such a refreshing change to find people who actually want to help. 10/10 to Colin for his superb help and support to my friend, and his brilliant customer service to us both. Only wish the service could be as good in West London, where I live.
