Nupdown Equestrian

Very friendly owners.

Posting on behalf of my wife who doesn’t have a google account:I went to view Nupdown as I was looking for full livery for my 2 horses. They offered livery subject to meeting my friend who helps with the horses. I arranged a further visit and we got on very well with them. They confirmed they would be happy to offer livery and said we would fit in and they would be happy to have us. I handed in my notice at the yard I was leaving, only to have a phone call a couple of days later saying they’d made a mistake and someone that had already booked livery was bringing several horses when they had thought it was only one horse. I find this excuse rather lame and extremely unprofessional and believe there was something more sinister behind their reason for not wanting me there. This caused me inconvenience and embarrassment. However it worked out for the best. Despite being impressed overall with Nupdown, the stables are very small, the hacking is limited and there’s no winter turnout. The yard I did move to meets all those requirements and my horses and I couldn’t be happier.
