Wonderful Sunday lunch. Beautifully cooked. Perfect portion size and lovely variety of vegetables. Very accommodating, pleasant staff. Would certainly recommend this establishment.

We visited for a meal. I had the fish&chips, which was excellent. My wife had the special chicken supreme, which was also excellent. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. Beer is also very good too. we'll definitely be back!!

Lovely staff. Excellent food and great value for money. Room needed some attention - the bed was lovely and wide but very hard. Also, the room had an interconnecting door, so it felt like your neighbour was in the room with you!

A really charming establishment full of character.Lovely welcome on arrival and a helping hand with my bags up to my room for the night. The Bumblebee. Tastefully furnished and a huge very comfortable bed.Loved the complimentary toiletries.Dinner was tastyBreakfast stunning: Freshly baked croissants, and Eggs Benedict

We live locally so do not stay overnight here however often come for dinner. Great pub food, imaginative and good quality ingredients. A pub menu with flair and reasonably priced. Great credit to the Chef. The staff are also very welcoming.

We had a family get together last Sunday lunchtime and it was a very good experience. There was a friendly welcome from the bar staff and after ordering our drinks we were then seated upstairs. Although we were the only diners upstairs it worked really well as we had young children with us and there was great music playing softly in the room. The food was outstanding and the ladies who waited on us were efficient and attentive. Highly Recommended.

Staff are great, and the location is charming. But things have to be said to make it better for the next people. There is an unpleasant pervasive smell of old cooking oil in the hotel area, the carpet on the stairs needs cleaning or better, binning. The bathroom in my room needs new pipe work and a good clean. Trying to help improve.

Was taken by family. Lovely welcoming pub. Restaurant beautiful. Food different and with very good choices. I had black bean burger not because I am vegetarian just sounded good and it really was. The only disappointment was the table behind us of 6 that were very very loud and we had difficulty in hearing each other talk

We went here as a party of 11 people for a birthday celebration. We were seated on a long set of tables upstairs which had a nice decor to it. The waitress who served us was very polite and friendly and took a photo of us all which was very nice of her. I ordered the flat iron steak and asked for it medium rare. When it came out it was very nicely presented on a wooden chopping board already sliced up and looked delicious. It was indeed delicious and went well with the chimichuri sauce that was in a seperate bowl. The handcut chips were lovely as was the side salad. Two of our party had the sea bass and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Two had the fish and chips and again they looked delicious. All in all a lovely place to eat and we would definitely be back again if staying around the area.

We had an excellent dinner here from a menu with a good range of choices.The staff and atmosphere were both friendly, service was great, altogether a great experience.
