You can always judge a company's customer service by how well they handle an issue.I ordered a book recently from Britbooks but after waiting almost three weeks it never arrived. Britbooks had posted it promptly but for some reason the carrier failed to deliver it.I contacted Britbooks to ask for a replacement. I was answered promptly with a genuinely apologetic email, an explanation and a full refund as they did not have a replacement available. All at first contact. And they even said if the book did arrive, I could keep it.Can't say fairer than that!

Absolutely great service. A book I ordered didn't arrive (probably stuck at customs in my country). After contacting Brit Books they said they would immediately send another one free of charge. Couldn't ask for more!

I will never use this supplier again. I placed an order with Amazon on 18 Sept and one of the books was coming from Brit books.I received the Amazon order within a few days, I'm still waiting for delivery from Brit Books. Amazon informed me the parcel was probably lost. Royal Mail tracker said it was despatched on 27 Sept !!

For the second time I've ordered a second hand book from Brit Books via Amazon. It hasn't arrived and tracking information and Royal Mail suggest that both books were picked up by the carrier from Brit Books but never got to Royal Mail. Now I have to wait 5 days to ask for a refund. Don't waste your time and money on this useless supplier.
