Went to purchase iPad & case having first checked online they were in stock. Nobody on shop floor to help so walked across store to tills. Guy who came to serve us could not have been more disinterested. Easy sale worth about £400 if he could be bothered. Walked out without purchasing. Will pay more & purchase direct from Apple. As a shareholder easy to see why my shares are down 50%.

The store itself was OK, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but once you have a problem with an item it is a painful experience with the phone staff from beginning to end.I sent off a faulty monitor, they couldn't fix it, so sent back, on the wrong day (thus a wasted day off) and arrived back to me smashed.Phone line offered to get it repaired (as I paid good money for a shop smashed monitor) or a refund that wouldn't cover the value of the item to repurchase.On one occasion on the phone I was transferred to an individual who had clearly been sleeping and had no knowledge of the existence of monitors.The phone staff are condescending, rely too heavily on scripts, and seem to be maliciously incompetent with the aim to get customers to just give up and accept whatever inadequate scraps they are thrown, under the condescending guise of goodwill"."

I have mixed feelings about Currys. On the one hand, I can usually get what I want at a reasonable price online, but on the other hand there seems to be less and less to browse in store. I want 3 things at the moment. Earbuds, Sound Bar and Printer. The earbuds I bought online for collection but wanted to view the printers and listen to a sound bar whilst collecting. Unfortunately there was no stock of the sound bar I was interested in and the printers were sparse too. Anyway, I'll be off to John Lewis to look at things and maybe I'll buy there as they are equally competitive.Also, why is there always a queue at the tills even though the shop is quiet?

I made an order online to collect the save day as it was in stock at the store. I attended the store later the same day to be told the order had been processed incorrectly and had been put through as an order to the store which would take a few days. They couldn't understand why it had happened as they had the items in stock there. When I asked if I could just buy from them then and refund the online order they said they couldn't as if ordered online. Despite me saying how ridiculous that was and their error they still refused. Two days later I had a message to say my own had been delivered to the store so attended to collect. When I arrived they said it had not been delivered which I questioned having had a message to say it had and to go collect. After half an hour they found my item and I was able to collect.Really awful experience, wasted troops to the store, delayed receipt of my item and reluctance from the store to try and resolve even though they had my own in store shed could have solved they problem on the first occasion. I will not be returning out making an order online again there are enough places to shopelsewhere

The image of the dishwasher online didn't match the one in store.. (good job I physically checked) had to choose different model.. however, the staff trolleying the goods & staff on tills were very polite & helpful.. dishwasher has been on 3 times & so far so good
