Hursley High Class Butchers

Since we tried the meat from Hursley High Class Butchers we've mostly stopped buying meat from the supermarkets. The quality of the meat at the butchers is just so much better and surprisingly often cheaper as well.

I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend Brian and Hursley butchers who catered for my wedding last year. From the start he was very relaxed about it, and I had to ring him multiple times before I could get hold of him to organise everything in the weeks leading up to it. On the day he was rude to my bridesmaids and he also did not provide things we had agreed on. The meat was good and well cooked, but the salads were very poor. Hursley butchers does provide good quality meat and perhaps for a more informal party he would do a good job, but for a wedding or an event that you want to plan for I found the experience very stressful. It may have been a clash of personalities, but I wanted other people to be able to bear this in mind when considering using Hursley Butchers.

A hidden gem, great service and meat selection plus loads more essentials available. The curry sauces are an added bonus.

I was a bit disappointed with my steak pies and sausages I bought recently. Both had lumps of fat in them, I haven't experienced that previously from here.

Brian and Luke organised a fantastic hog roast for our wedding, everything was as promised and the quality and service was exceptional, thanks very much, Kevin and Margaret.
