Very impressed that this company was able to restore an old mouldy VHS tape and transfer it to DVD. The quality was better than I expected, considering the original family film was made back in 1969. Would definitely recommend.

I went to see AFX in the beginning of Aug 2020. I had asked for a home video to be converted to a DVD. They managed to get this completed very quickly within a 3 day turn around. It was great to have such old personal memories ready and available to show my family. I can't thank them enough.

Had some 8MM tapes converted by this company and all I can say is that From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much !A while back we lost our Gramp, and its been so long, I kinda forgot how he sounded. Thanks to the work you guys put in, you brought him back to us .10000% recommend.

Having been assured of the transfer of 35mm transparency photos of our wedding to a DVD as a present for my dying wife would only take a week I left it for 8 days to retrieve the discs. They had not arrived. The 'man' who deals with transparencies is away on holiday! They have assured me that the DVD will be delivered NEXT Thursday at the collection point in Street. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she is still alive by then to see them but AFX couldn't realy care less.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the customer service provided at this company. After sending a DVD to be copied into an alternative format the service was not performed and the DVD returned to the agent it was sent through with no explanation given, with my money refunded. It was suggested by the agent that I simply try the process again but this seemed pretty unsatisfactory to me so I called AFX directly. Despite providing an order number a generic explanation was given to me with no specific reference to my DVD and I was told they don't keep any records of their transactions. So I am none the wiser as to whether or not this service can be performed elsewhere. When I raised these concerns with the employee on the phone and suggested that they could improve the way they provided feedback to their customers in this situation I was told well we've not charged you for it and we've been in business 34 years

Don't use this outfit.I used their so-called premium service to convert an old 8mm film to a digital copy on a DVD.There was no evidence of pre- cleaning, colour correction, de-speckling nor splice and damaged frame editing.Numerous e mails were never acknowledged.I eventually used a professional transfer studio.
