I had a lovely meal at Kingsway farm in Dundee last weekend. The carvery was delicious and generous, with a variety of meats and vegetables to choose from. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The customer service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and valued. The manager also came to our table to ask about our experience and to thank us for choosing their restaurant. The only downside was that the decor was a bit outdated and could use some renovation. However, this did not affect the overall enjoyment of our meal. I would definitely recommend Kingsway farm to anyone looking for a good carvery in Dundee.At time of writing and on weekend prices in total I spent £8.69 for the small Carvery and £3.49 for a two litre drink. All in all a fake price.Kingsway Farm also halves a great selection of ice creams that can be seen from the bar area and also a great selection of cakes absolutely fantastic really enjoy the cakes even though I didn't have one on this occasion I have done in the past.They also have a play area for kids and families. Can be busy at times due to popularity. You can book, but I've always just turned up as a party of 2 a few times. Easier enough to get a table and any wait I've ever had is within about 10-15 mind maximum. People are coming and going all the time. You shouldn't have a problem. You can book online if necessary.

We had a large party booking of 14 for the festive menu with majority of us having the carvery. We were asked to submit a pre order for our food in advance and were assured that this would give a more prompt service. Unfortunately it didn’t seem so as we were left sitting for quite a while. We nearly missed our slot at the bowling waiting for our plates to be cleared and for cakes to arrive. Overall we had a nice meal and staff were all nice but expectations in service were a bit higher.

Lovely meal, you could order table or up bar, we decided to go bar. Ordered Fish and chips, scampi and chips and we shared onion rings and coleslaw. The only down was so much staff on floor but only 2 behind the bar, the queue for ordering at bar was huge, felt alot staff just standing, noticed there's alot if tills behind bar so some should have come to help, apart from that it was lovely, we had to go back in queue to get my friend some cake when we where leaving.

Went in to pay for breakfast with Santa and had coffee and toast. Was served by Jim who was very polite attentive and helpful. Lovely man. During this time I found staff really helpful and friendly. I was alone but didn’t feel uncomfortable. Good atmosphere and judging by the amount of people having breakfast very popular. That doesn’t surprise me. Looking forward to returning

I’ve been here more times than I’m willing to admit but always surprised every-time with how amazing the food and service is! all staff are so helpful and chatty, came here for my 21st birthday with my family from Wales and they were really impressed by staff member Beth who even sang happy birthday with them for me :))) I recommend to everyone to try their gorgeous (and huge) cakes too!

We had a Christmas meal for 20 people last Saturday. There was a greeting at the door with a warm smile by Emily. She showed us our space. The tables were set and decorated festively. There was a card waiting for me on the table with Christmas greetings from the Ryan and Kingsway Farm team. Emily performed her duties perfectly. Complete professionalism. The food was excellent, meeting our expectations. The portions were sufficient and the price was right, just like Emily was everywhere and did everything with high professionalism. Thank you very much Emily.

Good in most respects, although I didn't like the fact that I had to join the same queue at the bar, whether it was to order our meals or just get a couple of extra drinks. There should be separate ares to order food and drinks. Neither could I order the mains, then go back to order puddings, and finally, coffees, and then pay for everything. You have to pay every time you go to the bar, which is a pain and actually put me off queueing a third time for puddings.

Food was really good and staff were helpful. It was pretty quiet though hence the 4 star for atmosphere but it didn't take away from the taste of the food. Also has an amazing cake selection.
