It was my first time visit to Lidl. Plenty of parking space with superfast electric car charger. I went straight into the shop, there were no queues. Plenty of fresh produce. Every week they add new products.

You need a self service section in Longbenton Lidl badly, would stop checkouts getting backed up with baskets.

Convenient, competitive prices, well laid out. But similar to Aldi their till service is complicated if you take a basket from instore. Feel rushed and end up chucking all your shopping into either the basket or half into your bags!

Great cheap parmigiano/parmesan.Excellent chocolate selection. Great sweets. Fairly mint veg. Lush ice-creams. Wish the brioche loaves were deeper/larger. Can never have nuff butter'floss. Nommage.Slight irritating temporary roadworks outside this place - but there's loads of them about atm.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping at this shop at Lidl and most items were priced at an affordable rate. Hence a great place for economical shopping. I prefer this over other shops.
