Puddingstone Place
Very disappointed. After a lengthy wait - I ordered a chickpea and olive Mediterranean salad. When the salad came the waitress said she would take £1 off as they had no olives!!! A main ingredient of the salad. I would have expected to be told this before the salad came so I could choose an alternative! I did not want to make a fuss - and yes I probably should have said something, but my partners cooked meal had arrived. Also toilet was not flushing. V poor.

Food was really good and the staff were brilliant with my little girl.Love the atmosphere that the staff would talk away to customers who were locals and non locals.Had a great time

Mmmmm. Missing that homemade steak pie or lasagna? Well Tracy whips them up from her own recipes right in the kitchen here at Puddingstone! And let me tell you, the steak in the pie, directly from the butcher down the street, is tender and tasty. Both of these are proper meals which will fill your tummy. Sam your server is an attentive lad eager to make sure that you enjoy your dinner. Stop in and see what Tracy is cooking up whenever you are near Puddingstone Place.

Lovely little family run cafe with great ambience. Didn't have any food as too close to lunchtime for me, but it looked delicious. Coffee was great and chatted to friendly locals.

After a 40 minute wait we received our order. The Halloumi fries with sweet chilli sauce was inedible. I told the waitress it was overcooked, she went away and came back and said that I wouldn't be charged for it. I was not offered a replacement and left the premises still hungry.

Excellent, friendly service and tasty food! We had some paninis (recommend the Piri Piri chicken - spicy!) and the haggis stack, all delicious.

Absolute gem of a place . Food was fresh and good quality. Son had burger, which was 2 patties and bacon that come from local butcher and I had a panini with bacon from same butcher. Young girl serving was attentive and pleasant. Reasonable in price also. Would definitely visit again

Amazing restaurant in Callander.We stopped by on our Highlands road trip and were amazed by the food and service received here. Fair prices and very generous portions.We really recommend the Halloumi fries and the steak pie, but everything was fantastic.Absolutely recommend.
