Wow turned up at 1pm 2 b told they don't open until one and it was one but all she could say is give me ten minutes and shut the door unbelievable rude need 2 learn customer service.... just wanna add the lady did not say 2 mins she said ten so plz don't make me out 2 b a liar....

Visited The Venue behind The Cricketers. All part of the same pub, however The Venue is a music bar, previously called Riga Music Bar. Beer on drought is dire, full of unwanted chewables. Toilets require wellies just to use (Mens) however atmosphere is fantastic with an eclectic clientele enjoying some great bands and music. Drink bottled beer and wear old footwear and you will have a great night.

Wedding Reception par excellence. The food and service were outstanding as was the supplied DJ / Master of Ceremonies in the attached function area. Couldnt fault the whole afternoon and evening. Highly recommended

Went on a Friday night with a few friends when live music was on. A good night out was had by all, the atmosphere was lively but still very friendly, the beer was good and at a reasonable price. Has a huge selection of gins to chose from too. Has a large outside smoking area.Would recommend this pub for a lively night out.

A group of us went for our Christmas meal at lunch time.The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. There was so much of it too!The service was second to none and the staff were lovely.Very reasonable prices too.Not been before but will certainly be going again!

Not bad, not particularly good... E.g many of the chairs are tatty, and some of them have unwholesome stains on them... But the staff are lovely.Update: the place is now closed.
