Yesterday I was looking for an item of clothing the first advisor I spoke to wasn’t very experienced so when I ask another by the name of Carla was extremely helpful, she gave me suggestions and seemed genuinely interested to help me to get what I wanted.I am aware that being a sales advisor can be quite stressful as I’ve been doing it for many years but perhaps new advisors could do well my remembering that the customers are paying their wages.Thank you Carla for setting such a great example.

Absolutely vile staff. My mother brought her puppy in as we couldn't leave her In the car. We asked the manager if this was ok and they said yes it's fine as long as we don't bring her again. We had 2 other staff members tell us we aren't allowed to bring her in but we explained the manager had said it was fine for now and they said oh ok"A 3rd staff member came up to us screaming her head off

Very rude security guard accused me of stealing chocolate when i picked up some mints and put them back on the shelf. He claimed i needed to “earn his loyalty card” i am disgusted because this has never happened to me before, the one time i go in a tracksuit he accused me of stealing.

Always a pleasure shopping at the Pitsea branch. Staff are approachable and friendly, store is easy to navigate. Shelves are organised and well stocked. All in all a great place to shop.

No offenceTime to change the name. All items are above a poundStars are for store. No stars for staff as most of them want me to do self service, even for senior citizens, they make them wait/force you until you do it yourselfAfter doing hefty shopping, I have to scan through each item

I work for the 99p store and I went undercover at your pitsea branch. I found great pleasure in the fact that my employer doesn’t rip people off. A pound!?! You are a bunch of cowboys. You should closed down. P.s. merry Christmas ya filthy animals

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Although they stock a wide range of products their customer service staff is appalling. Having been greeted by a member of staff on entrance and holding my cat in a carry case without anything being said, the same member of staff 10 minutes later rudely told us that he wasn't allowed in the store. Have never felt so unwelcome in a shopHighly recommend that poundland educate their staff on correct customer service. Won't shop here again. Would give 0 stars but not able to.
