Cheltenham Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Plenty of space to pick a spot. One toilet block with showers, very clean but difficult to adjust the water temp of showers so be careful. There are dish washing facilities on site, only 2 sinks with 1 washing machine you have to pay for. These 2 facilities are situated in an area with no windows and felt uncomfortable being there alone. Great views of racing course and it takes 10 minutes by bus to get into the town centre. The bus stop is a park & ride and £4 return /person. Great for an overnighter.

Best racecourse in Britain. Beautiful setting, we were lucky weather wise, just don't expect a cheap day out!!. £7.50 a pint and £9 for a cheeseburger. Extremely busy with racegoers as expected for the Horse Olympics

DO NOT STAY HERE(Rated 1 star because 0 stars isnt an option)I booked two nights as a solo camper, arriving by bicycle. But never actually stayed because I was 20 mins late arriving. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that because I was late I would not be allowed on site and, furthermore, because I had failed to show up" I would not be eligible a refund.The online booking system is a joke. If you don't have a vehicle registration number (tricky with a bike) you have to book by phone. I never received any communication from the club to confirm my booking. I repeatedly left voicemail messages to ask what happens if I am late arriving (this sometimes happens as a cycle tourer)? I never had any replies.When I eventually spoke to a member of staff to explain I may be a little late

Great place for a short break lots to find and do locally. Great area for walking.

Lovely site, excellent views very welcoming, we hadn't pre booked but the lady checked us in and was very friendly.

Staff really friendly....location is what it is.....shower block clean but very cold.No Heating on while having a shower. Understand the energy crisis but should have had some form of heating in the morning for people who were showering.Did report this but next day just as bad

This is an event you dont want to miss. A great place to communicate with people and meet new friends.Come and have alot to eat and drink for a reasonable price.If you are about Fashion, oh you will get lot of inspiration.Wide space to accommodate thousands of people, so you dont have to worry about where to sit.

I always enjoy visiting this campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. The views over the Racecourse towards the hills are beautiful.The toilet block has been upgraded since we were last here, 2 or 3 years ago.There is a very useful park and ride bus outside the Racecourse which takes you into Cheltenham city centre. You can use your bus pass on it after 9.30 am.

This is a great site with stunning views and great facilities. There is a ring and ride bus station next door and a steam railway that runs from Cheltenham to Broadway. During the day we walked through Prestbury park into town which takes approximately 30 minutes very slow walk enjoying all of the distractions along the way. Evenings where spent enjoying a beer and a BBQ watching paragliders soar through the sky off distant hills - Very relaxing

Great motorhome site on the Racecourse with an easy walk or cycle ride into town. Also next to the park and ride.
