Really welcoming staff,Both the Dentist and the Hygienist were really nice, informative, and spent the time to talk me through what was happening and how I can make slight tweaks to improve my oral care even more,What was really nice; was the feeling that they cared, and had the time to really spend with me. Whereas other places I’ve been have always felt rushed and like a conveyor belt of dentistry. He was the most thorough Hygienist I’ve ever had, taking the clean to the next level, which I’m really grateful for.The Nursing team are exceptional, calming, and just put you at ease.Everyone seems really engaged and friendly,

Staff are very friendly and helpful but appointments are regularly cancelled by the practice and rescheduled. In summer 2022 the practice cancelled and rescheduled my appointment four times before I eventually got to see a dentist. Earlier this year my appointment wasn’t actually cancelled but I waited for an hour in reception without being seen - indeed a patient with a later appointment time was shown into see the dentist I was due to be seeing, while I was still waiting. I ended up with a new appointment for several weeks later with a different dentist. Most recently the hygienist appointment that I only booked a few months ago was cancelled and rescheduled.

Visited here with a very, very sore tooth. It was my back tooth coming through. As I was here the staff were kind, Karen on reception and I think molly were great at discussing my symptoms and then managed to get me seen. They showed great empathy and listened to what I had to say. I was then seen promptly by Fatima and and Faye. Both were a great team and knew exactly what they were talking about. I haven’t received such enthusiasm from a dentist before Everything was talked through perfectly. I’m not afraid of the dentist but I feel like if you were, you should come here. They are top class! Thanks :)

The stars are for the help of two hygienists who have been lovely - my existing hygienist and one whom left long ago. I'd rate them a 5 star each. However, the business operations and reliability leaves a lot to be desired, After being a patient for years and needing life long treatment every couple of months, it's become un-affordable due to their policy for deposits up front, given I have to book months in advance to ensure I stand some chance of being seen regularly. To charge for a deposit for one appointment I can understand, but to try and charge me for all booked appointments is ridiculous, especially given their own track record of keeping appointments. As a longstanding patient of 10 yrs, I've cancelled 3 times, twice being Covid. The 3rd time, has led me to write this review. Since I left a voicemail cancellation of over 24 hours - despite calling first thing at 7:30am on a Monday morning, this apparently was not sufficient. Their policy is 48 hour notice, so in essence I should have left a message on the Sunday, which wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference as they are closed on the weekends. Apparently leaving a message on their answerphone does not constitute a cancellation, as they cannot guarantee it'll be listened to, and when I suggested they listen to my recording, I was told it wasn't there. Presumably this was because they were hunting for it some 24 hours later to when it was left and chances are it might well have been recorded over. With no understanding nor care as to why the appointment had been cancelled, nor taking into account my track record, they wanted to charge me £65 for the privilege! . The practise however, have cancelled my appointments frequently. In fact the appointment which has led me to write this review, was a rebooking following their cancellation of another appointment and yet there is no compensation from their end for loss of my earnings. Very recently, unbeknown to me, my hygienist left and consequently the practise, without reference to me, cancelled all my booked apts for the year, without trying to fit me in with someone else, despite them knowing my history. I found out purely by chance. It seems staff turnover is high and since Covid, I've seen dentists, hygienist and reception staff turnover more than once, which does not help any patients continuity of care. It's a great pity, as when we first moved to the area, it was an outstanding practice.I would also add a couple of appointments back, I was placed with another hygienist, who was on cover. I felt quite ill afterwards and told her I felt sick and very dizzy, she gave a worried look to her the dental nurse and told me the injections could increase the heart rate. I'm used to receiving injections but this was different. I mentioned this on my next visit to my regular hygienist who checked my records and told me she wished her colleague had read my notes, she had in fact given me double dosage of what I normally have, and whilst this was not dangerous, it should not have been administered. So today, I decided to walk, despite the worry about now trying to find another practice , I was frankly appalled at how the practice have treated me, not to mention the safety issue.

Been going here for years and it was always great, sometimes a bit of waiting time but not too bad.Used to see Mr Tang or Amal hafeez Sheikh. Really helpful, friendly and professional.A new dentist today, very egotistical, got on her high horse at every opportunity. Was really strange to see such behavior in that situation, not needed at all, just wanted tooth fixed. Very unprofessional. A real shame. One star is probably too much!

Feel compelled to review my experience.Having been a patient of Lowcroft since 1993 ,I never had any issues until they implemented a monumental change and ceased to provide NHS pricing .Whilst like the rest of the nation ,I understood the NHS dentist crisis, their brutal handling of it was shocking. This change was relayed as a surprise bit of information to their patients .They thought it was ok just to deliver such financially challenging news when I rang to book an appointment. They were unable to provide a price list and to this day, my 2 emails to their last and current Practice Manager remain unanswered which is unprofessional and rude.Of course this is not how patients should be treated.I felt genuinely sorry for the young receptionist who had the unenviable task of imparting all the excuses she could say to explain the appalling lack of customer care and integrity.I waited 6 months on a list and now have a wonderful dental practice to take care of our needs.Huge relief to no longer need Lowcroft

I’ve been an NHS patient at this practice for over 30 years but they are now not offering NHS appointments. I haven’t got a problem with this but what has upset me is the lack of communication. I have been waiting for an invite for an appointment for nearly 3 years and I now find out that is not going to happen.Only private appointments available, I shall be looking for a new dentist.Very bad customer relations.
