This is a lovely peaceful site Basil really keeps the site in excellent condition toilets shower etc are quite unique but brilliantTotally adults onlyWe'll definitely be back

Basil has made his site perfect.The toilets look like normal portaloos. However, they are very well kept and spotless. Basil has installed a couple of porta showers with plenty of hot water while he is building two new ones.Well behaved dogs are allowed with lots of walks nearby.The grass is kept short and there is good attention to detail for such a small site.All in all a wonderful site we booked for one night but ended up staying for four.Quiet but a short walk away from everything you could need, stroll through the nearby hamlet and a bit further on you come to the lake, perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding, nearby tearooms are very nice with great veggie and vegan food.Somewhere we will definitely be returning to.

I stayed in a tent for the night on this campsite with no hookup. Lovely site, very friendly very welcoming. Toilets, shower waste disposal and everything. Right next to a picturesque River with Snowdon in sight. 5 stars would stay again!

I stayed here for 3 nights a couple of moths back and had a great experience. Such a friendly host with some stunning views! I will definitely be returning soon!Thanks for a great stay Basil!

Cwm Ryddallt campsite is the perfect base to explore the local area. It is rural yet central and has fantastic access to anywhere you could need in North Wales. The facilities are great with separate toilets and washroom and a funky shower (with more permanent showers on the way). Cost £20 with EHU very happy. Basil is a great host.
