Amazing service, quality and atmosphere. Gorgeously presented coffees that taste as equally nice as they look. Consistently improving their cafe, really showing plenty of mindfulness to customers. The food is of respectable quality, although could have some more kids' sized food options, and more baby friendly options. General prices could be just a little lower but it is going to a non-profit, plus the fact of how well it runs and how hard everyone works can make it justifiable. Overall, a great spot to grab a coffee or pain au chocolat in the morning, reserve a table for the family, have a calming rest after a walk through Pittville Park, or even to visit in the winter months for a date under cute lights and tasteful decorations.

Ok but £4 for 2 pkt of biscuits is a rip off. Didn’t notice a price list. The cashier said it was too expensive for her to buy them.

I’ve been here a few times now and honestly it’s the worst cafe I’ve ever been to. Badly thought out when ordering. The cold drinks are disgustingly overpriced. They work out as more than most food bits. And the food has been inedible every time bar one that I’ve been. They aren’t bothered if you complain either. Will not be going back. Shame as the building and space is lovely. I’d support it if it was worth what you purchase in there.

Weekend queues will be 20 to 30 mins. The cakes are average catering fare, the Chocolate Fudge Brownie being a good authentic choice, the rest are a rather bland dry sponge and chemical production.Coffee will be lukewarm and will arrive a long time after you've paid.Lots of staff running on 50% efficiency. It works because the customers are nice people"

Ordered 2 Jacket potatoes with beans and coronation chicken. It was alright. Potato wasn't really that hot which was disappointing.Tables and chairs were not really kept clean after customers left.

Poor service and average overpriced food. Breakfast only served on Sunday, makes no sense. No bread for toast for the kids.Staff are slow and stand chatting behind the counter while tables are left needing clearing.

Incredibly poor service. The staff stand around chatting behind the counter whilst tables are left dirty, with coffee cups / half eaten lunches on them. I ordered a coffee and a sandwich - the coffee arrived after 5mins, but the sandwich did not turn up. I asked for a refund which was refused - instead got offered a sausage roll as an alternative. Shocking that such a great and historic location has such poor service. I live locally but will not be returning.

Only had coffee, but friends had food which looked good. A bit noisy cos it is very popular, but enjoyed the atmosphere.

This place just needs some more organised staff and better processes. Great location, obvious place to have a cafe and they've done a nice job with the building. Coffees are reasonable and there's usually a good selection of pastries and sausage rolls / pasties. They are just slow and disorganised and you can see the look on people's faces when they've been waiting 10mins for a cup of tea. Tables are left uncleared for too long and despite looking like they are all running around, there's swathes of people not getting anything very quickly. Just needs one or two people who know how to run a cafe properly.
