The Chicken Alfredo was good but the green beans were undercooked imo.Cheesecake was not as I expected it was light and fluffy, the service was great and the waiters very pleasant, good atmosphere for families.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that serves top quality food with a personal touch on service then look no further than this local gem. Check it out. Mario and his team will look after you as they did our team of 8 today 13th Aug 2021. We all had an amazing lunch with a beautiful house red or 3. Terrific recommendation from our good friend Nigel. Lovely food and very attentive and helpful staff. The calzone was made as vegetarian for us, even though this wasn't on the menu and when they arrived they were HUGE! A little girl on another table said they looked like turtles on our plates! Very tasty and followed by creme brulee which was creamy with a lovely crisp, crunchy topping.

Accommodated a large group at short notice. Fantastic food, friendly staff and really helpful splitting the bill for a group of teenagers! Not local but will make the journey again anyway! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Whether eating in (permitted) or getting the food delivered, the whole experience is always unique, yet consistently good, evocative of original Italian meals but with Averna’s personal flair. Just bounced a seafood pizza and seafood risotto with my partner. Top drawer! Get a bottle of Red and add a large prawn or 2:)

Risotto is a still good, but pizza is not good, tiny stone or glass (I am not sure what is it) into the pizza, my wife and I ate pizzas with stone. Be careful the pizza.Risotto is 4.5 stars but pizza is one star.

Absolutely brilliant staff, attentive and really cared about you. The food was amazing specifically the lasagna classica was the best I've ever had. Deserts were good to, tried the tiramisu, banoffee pie and sorbet.
