Loch Fyne Restaurant Oxford
The restaurant itself is very nice, with a seating area at the front and back of the restaurant. There is an open plan kitchen visible in the back seating area. The food was delicious and really good quality. We went for the fizz Friday option which gives you a complementary glass of prosecco. The staff were very friendly and knew the menu well and gave us advice on what to order. Overall lovely restaurant, and probably wise to book in advance.

No long as brilliant as before since a large number of friendly staff have left for other restaurants in the city. Regulars will have noticed the drop in the standard if you are unlucky enough to be served by the newer staff or boss. Food is still fine whilst service is unpredictable. The tourists will keep the place busy of course.

Food was good especially the fish soup. Service a little slow but we were a big group. Very helpful and pleasant staff. A little bit pricey but it was a three course meal with wine.

Great food, friendly service. We had a Tuesday deal of bottomless mussels, which my partner rated as the best she's had. The portion sizes are generous, so it's good value for money. Staff were very friendly and responded promptly to requests. Will definitely visit again!

Our waitress Audrey was extremely helpful.She was very knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu.My friends and I had a wonderful experience.We would recommend Loch Fyne as the service and food is enjoyable.

About staffing all of them excellent, friendly, helpful answering all ours doubts. The menu is good, nice taste ( burgers, teriyaki salmon, prawns tacos are amazing), but personally I didn't like The Soft Shell Crab Pakora...quite strange to eat, you don't know what are you eating. Any way I will recommend this restaurant always.

Used to be brilliant and I enjoyed buying their fresh oysters to take away regularly too. However, the change of staff and manager have made this undesirable. The new manager Amy is arrogant and rude. Overcharging us on a number of occasions and refused to correct the bills. I have never seen anything like this over the years and feel extremely sad as I have been a regular customer. In my opinion, this used to be the best Lock Fyne in southern England. It has now become the worst.

4-star food, 4-star wine, 4.5-star staff, 3.5-star atmosphere. Oysters are fresh and enjoyable. Lobster is descent but just a tiny bit over cooked and dry for my taste. Sauvignon blanc is a surprise for its price, very good and matches my food. Staff members are professional and friendly. My biggest concern is that, the restaurant was packed on the day I went and too noisy for me.

Lovely place, nice warming atmosphere, maintaining high standards of Loch Fyne. Damian, our server, was great (friendly, engaging, fun) as were the new items on the menu since my last visit. Service could be a little quicker, but I don't think it would be fair to rate them any lower than 5 stars!
