These are excellent facilities but it is a pity that some people seem unable to pick up their waste - particularly old tennis balls etc and put in the bins provided. These are a choking hazard to other dogs. Do the right thing and be more considerate of others!!

Run Free Dog Fields
This is a great place to go to give your dog the freedom of being off leash. Safe environment completely closed in to give you peace of mind. Great for training or just letting them have a run around to let off steam and not have to worry about other distractions or dangers.

Absolutely wonderful for practicing recall with my puppy without too many distractions and no risk of him upsetting other dogs, escaping or running into traffic. Could get a bit pricy going very regularly, but it's well maintained, spacious and above all felt very safe. Easily accessible by car from the Village and West Mains.

Open clean grounds with accessible entry. Water available if required also. Will be back again as the pup loved it! Great for practicing recall exercises and off leash training.

Used the runs for a while now, went to the new Kirkhill field today, great space and not on the hill so perfect for my greyhound. Can't wait to go back.Only down point, and this has just been today, previous users were still there when our time started, and took a good five minutes to get out, even though they were meant to leave 10 minutes prior. Very frustrating but not RunFrees fault, just wish people would follow the rules.

Really good but could do with some maintenance some people seem to think it's ok to let there dogs dig large holes in the covered areas and let there dogs climb all over the bench witch was filthy and ended up picking up other dog poos as well as our owns

Dogs loved it was great, very clean fields and great location, got a bit lost but sat Navs fault, but got there in the end. Great run free have fresh running water for the dogs to have a wee refreshment and also if they get muddy then a wee hose there to take as much mud off then as you can.

A good sized field to let the dogs run around in. We just fostered a dog from Macedonia and wanted a secure place he could play with our other dogs. They provide double security when getting the dogs out of the car and a hose to wash down the dogs with (definitely needed if you go after the rain because it’s like a giant mud pit). I wasn’t keen on how close the fields were to a very busy road but the fences were high enough and secure enough for dogs not to escape.

First time using field to train my poodle pup to return to me off lead and generally some great excersise for her.Field is totally secure with running water and a bowl and shelter if needed.Well it is Scotland.lol
