Not Great At All - I suggest you read my experience for engaging this companyTo give you a little background, I'd had to bleed my radiators, but forgotten to check the boiler pressure and subsequently the boiler stopped working due to a loss of pressure. I emailed N J E Heating systems, and later that day I realised my mistake and re-pressurised the boiler - from that point on the boiler worked.When N J E Heating Systems contacted me the next day, I explained that the issue had been resolved, but I thought it would be prudent to have the boiler serviced (it was last serviced in January 2023)An Engineer from N J E (Neal Tewell) turned up to complete the service on the Thursday (again at this point the boiler was working fine). He started the service, replacing a Burner Gasket and then put the boiler back together, but was unable to get the boiler to fire up (it had been working fine before he arrived)Neal suspected it was the fan that was the issue, but did not have any diagnostic tools to support this, he could come back and replace the fan, if that didn't work it could be the gas valve....He was quite forward in telling me that he had just come from another job where he had needed to replace the fan following a faulty service the day before.He did suggest that I contact Worcester Bosch as the boiler may be still be under warranty. Which I did, but sadly the warranty had expired in August.However given, the previous example that he shared with me, the lack of diagnostic tools and the suggestion of trying the fan first then the valve (I could see costs spiralling) I opted instead of going back to NJE to have the professionals (Worcester Bosch) visit my property to fix the boiler - entering into a fix and insurance contract with Worcester Bosch.The Worcester Bosch Engineer visited my property on the Saturday and had fixed the boiler, using no replacement parts within 10 minutes. I requested the Worcester Bosch Engineer Report which reads'Actions Taken:GAS VALVE SETTINGS OUT ? RESET AND COMP TESTS.'I'm not a Gas Engineer, but it is quite clear to me that in completing the service and rebuilding the boiler the NJE Engineer had not applied the correct settings to the Gas Valve, which I can assume had been correct prior to his arrival (given the boiler was working) - whether this was deliberate or accidental who knows.On the Monday I raised a complaint to NJE, who advised me that they had contacted Worcester Bosch who had advised them that the Gas Valve was not giving the correct readings, that the Worcester Bosch Engineer had reset the Gas Valve and that they (NJE) are not allowed to adjust the Gas Valve. They then proceeded to invoice me.Again I'll repeat that the boiler was working absolutely fine before NJE visited, meaning the Gas Valve Settings must have been correct prior Neal's visitAbsolutely shocking service, I've paid there invoice on principle, but I'll not be using them again, such a shame when you are keen to support local businessesI suspect that their engineers are paid bonuses based on the additional parts and hours that they sellAt least now, I'm in safe hands with professionals

Typically, Our boiler decided to stop working just before the snow arrived!! Our neighbours recommended this company, as we have only been in this house for 9 months and we didnt know anyone! We called them and despite being incredibly busy, sent an engineer the next day. Robin the engineer was extremely proficient and detected the problem straight away, told us what needed to be done and what parts would need replacing.! He returned, serviced our boiler , replaced all the worn parts and to our relief, got it working again; in fact it is now working better than ever before.No more noise, smells or extreme heat in the utility room. Robin was very courteous and arrived on time. His knowledge of our brand of boiler made us feel very confident in him and he did not disappoint!The bill has arrived we were pleasantly surprised for a change, for 2 visits, a full service , plus parts; was very reasonable!! Thank you so much! We would highly recommend this company!

We have had our boiler serviced and have been very impressed with the quality of the service in the past and decided to have a new boiler installed.I was impressed with the professionalism of the engineers and also the follow up customer service. The engineers demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the installation process and respected my property at all times - cleaning up afterwards and testing the boiler and heating system to ensure that everything was working correctly.I was suitably impressed with the customer service prior to and throughout the installation as I was kept informed when any changes were made and any issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Not good. Quoted £99 inc vat for a service and got a bill for 240 odd quid, when i questioned it it became apparent id been charged for 1 and a half hours labour more than the engineer had actually been here . Was then quoted almost £630 to complete the work the boiler needed, we were told we needed 3 parts, the most expensive was forty pounds and that the system needed draining, this price didht include the cost of the smart meter set up with the boiler that also needed replacing. Got a second opinion, firstly the system didnt need draining and we didnt need all the parts NJE said we needed, we were also given a price for the new smart set up and all in the price came in less than half the price NJE quoted for only two thirds of the job . I worked out i was being charged around £470 for three parts a filling loop, a pressure valve and a pressure vessel , i didnt need the pressure valve and the pressure vessel could be bought for £42. In other words a CRIMINAL mark up on parts, quoting for parts you dont need and labour that isnt required. Avoid like the absolute plague

It is refreshing to find a business not only extremely competent in their work but also friendly, trustworthy, reliable and professional.We recently had an oil tank and boiler installed and the whole experience from start to finish was easy and faultless. The work was carried out exactly when they promised, at the price they quoted, and to the highest of standards. The system has been fault free from day 1 and the (extremely friendly) team left the place cleaner than they found it. I don't ever remember encountering cleaner and tidier workers.Thank you for your efforts.I would highly recommend.
