Trosley Country Park Car Park Entrance

It's a good place to walk a pack of dogs. Rather busy at times, but most dog walkers are experienced and knowledgeable.Last time I was there, the phone parking was out of order. Go on the parking website instead and pay that way.

Various walks of varying lengths. Some spectacular views over the Medway basin.Cafe god for drinks and snacks. There is a camera monitoring vehicles entering and leaving. Ticketing machines only had 1 working on last visit. Previous visit neither worked. Fines produced if you park without a ticket.

A case for sharing here:I came here with my family some time ago but the payment machine didn't accept my coins after trying for a few times and I had to give up other complicated payment methods due to the need in taking care of my family. However, I received a penalty letter from Euro Car Parks very soon. After the baised discussions from Euro Car Parks then POPLA, I am forced to make the full penalty payment as these two appeals last for about 3 months altogether.By googling recently, I found that many drivers had left similar comments in other car parks operated by Euro Car Parks which seems it is their a common 'skill' of collecting penalty.A serious reminder here if you encounter payment machine out of order in their car parks but don't have time to sort out other payment methods, simply go away and find another car park quickly.

Great place for walk with children as it has lots of attractions for physical exercise and also good offer of drinks and food in coffee shop

Lovely place for a family walk, especially if you have dogs - plenty of routes to choose from.Be warned though, if you do the Downland long walk, it is a steep descent and ascent to complete the loop - may not be suitable for some people. From the carpark, the first descent is stepped but the further one is mud and grass only. If it's wet or muddy it could be quite difficult without sticks.

Once you're past the irritating car park machine, you are greeted by well laid out walks for all abilities and beautiful views across Kent from your vantage point.Be warned that the steps on the long walk are a killer

Single rate Parking paid for full day (£2.70 on weekends and bank holidays), which is handy if planning to stay long. The trails are extremely muddy at the moment, quite hilly as well.

Today was all blue skies so we had a very good walk, enjoying the trees just on the point of leafing . Pleanty if facilities especially for children.
