Great restaurant with great offers!I was lucky to go Friday when they have a buy 1 get 1 free burgers day.Good for your budget.I went for the biggest burger they had, and it did not disappoint.Highly recommended.Also, they have other selection in their menu to be chosen from.

Really enjoyed our night here. Closed a bit early and could have done with an extra 30 minutes. However, the food was really good, best mixed grill I have had in a pub for ages. Staff where fantastic, Shannon was a great laugh and really friendly. Do a lot of working away and really hope we get some more work down in Reading.

Was directed to a table by telling us its number, not taken to it. Table was in darkness, no lights around table at all. Went to another table. All menus were greasy. Restaurant was cold. Told waitress, she said Yes I've told her" Lots of people were wearing coats. Wasn't offered sauce or told where it was. Spotted it when I went to the toilet AFTER my meal. Good point- food was piping hot and tasty and good size portions."

Hi everyone, I been to Victoria Cross in Reading a few times, just looking to share my experience with them, I can only describe it as 5* and recommend if you are in the area for food especially, the staff there are super friendly and helpful, delicious food and fast serving, very good value for money as the meals are super sized, fresh and tasty, keep it up guys, looking forward for my next visit, good place to spend time with friends and family !

Absolutely amazing service as always when we come here for lunch. The staff are always very helpful, friendly, very easy to talk to and nothing is too much trouble. The prices are very reasonable, you get your moneys worth. I have a food allergy, which is not a common one. The General Manager went above and beyond to check the ingredients for the food I had picked to have. Amazing fast service, food was lovely and hot, as always and well presented on the plate. This is definitely our favourite place to come and eat.

Went for a friends birthday this eve and it's no Michelin star but it's incredibly cheap with good portions, loads of room and the staff were lovely. Really helpful and friendly. Especially Clare. I'd go back any time.

Went here randomly because it looked decent. Made the right decision. Food, excellent. Service excellent. Alcohol, yes. The manager Rhi was very accomodating to my rather stingy requests and had a great attitude towards the punters and her own staff. Very well run. Would definitely go again.
