Colne Valley Veterinary Practice

Really happy I have moved my cats to Colne Valley, a much more personal and focused service. The vet reviewed the history and discussed treatments going forward that aimed to resolve or help the issues my cat has. Highly recommended, proper veterinary practice!

Went to Wivenhoe easy to park lovely vet. Unfortunately Daisy's overweight but not to worry we are now both healthy eating.

A very caring and professional vet service. It’s rare to find vets that take time out to really explain things and show they care. They understand that they aren’t just pets but family and that’s not just the vets it’s the lovely reception staff too!

I moved my dog to this practice a month or so ago and its the best thing I could have done. All the staff I have met are kind and caring. My boy's problem started to re-occur yesterday and although it wasn't an emergency they got me an appointment sorted for late afternoon. John the vet was brilliant we discussed treatment options and an ongoing plan. For the first time in months I feel like I have been listened to and Shep has a sensible way ahead. John gave me a prescription and I have been able to save loads of money on Shep's medication. I cannot speak highly enough of the compassionate, kind and sensible approach this practice takes. You can rest assured that your pet is in good hands with them.

Sad, and utterly disappointed with how the deaths of my two beautiful, precious cats was dealt with. Little to no sympathy at the time of their passing. Not a single word or card expressing sympathy or condolences. They're lovely when all's well and you're paying. Perhaps consider emotional and psychological training of staff on how to deal with customer bereavement.

A different vet this time but as professional and friendly. She handled my cat really well. Again very pleased.
