Lovely historic pub with great beer , the food is lovely with a good selection.It is dog friendly and has a very nice garden to enjoy a pint in a summer's day.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Amazing choice of meats plus veggie options. Lovely atmosphere and super cozy with a gorgeous open fireplace. Great portions and very tasty.

Fast becoming my local of choice. Well kept beer, excellent menu with veggie and vegan options. Fantastic onion rings!Engaging staff and oodles of atmosphere. Plenty of room outside to eat and drink. Large carpark and outside loos. What more could you want?

Excellent pub! First time here today. We came on a cold, snowy day to find a big open fire, friendly service and delicious food!It's not surprising that the curried scotch egg is a favourite amongst others, it was full of flavour and quite substantial for a starter plate! The fish and chips were cooked so well, some of the best chips I've had in a pub, super crispy, as was the batter! And the samphire was a lovely addition.Highly recommend, we'll be back!

Such a fantastic find. My Husband did some research and read the glowing reviews so we thought we’d give it a go. I’m so glad we did. A delicious meal and very attentive service. Not over fussy, just a really comfortable relaxed welcoming pub. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. :)

The food was absolutely sublime! The difficulty was choosing what to have! Every thing was cooked to perfection presented really well and delicious.The pub is a beautiful setting and would recommend booking to avoid disappointment of tables being full. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about local produce. There is a good selection of drinks and the menu is priced really well given the quality of food. For 3 courses we paid between £30-£40 a head. Can't wait to return.

Booked Sunday lunch, assured accessible for disability. Arrived to find small overcrowded pub. Couldn't get through door, ignored by staff. People on reserved table finishing pudding. Asked for assistance, instructed to be patient! No choice but to leave at 2.30pm. Very poor!!!

Enjoyed a family (x7) Sunday lunch at Crows Nest. The Roasts were excellent. Mussels were fine.Pizza no complaints.Finished off with Eton Mess.Very attentive staff.Dog friendly - no complaints from Rocky.
