House of Handsome

I've gotten my hair cut here since I moved to Manchester. Everybody does a great job, and as someone with a less common haircut (mohawk) I always feel really well taken care of. I struggle with going to new places like barbers, but I lucked out finding this place right off the bat. Couldn't recommend this place more!

I'm pretty disappointed paying a premium price and had one of the worst trims I have ever experienced. Shame, as this place looks inviting and smart.

For the 3rd time I've tried to book a basic cut at this barbers on every occasion the time booked has never been honoured. Arrives 20 minutes early this time to be asked if I had an appointment, yep been there before gone are the days where you can just walk into a barbers and wait for a chair, I reply yes 2.15, deliberately booked that time as I work nights and the kids needed collecting an hour from said time.Its my local barbers and its a shame because for the 3rd time I'll have to go to yet another barbers I appreciate shop's are busy but I'm not buying that on this occasion.Not once did the barber even spin round and say sorry for the wait pal. Even though he was clearly 15 mins past apt timeWill not be wasting my time with the place again and will make sure people I know swerve it too.

Smart and stylish decor. Chris was very friendly and professional, and gave me the best haircut I've had in ages. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

This men's hair salon is absolutely outstanding! James and Chris are incredibly talented stylists who delivered an amazing haircut. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend this salon for a top-notch grooming experience. Impressed all the way!

EDIT - I left the below one star review, explaining the disappointment I felt with House of Handsome when the barber caught a skin tag on the back of my partner's head and didn't even mention it, never mind apologise (so my partner didn't even know it had happened), resulting in his coat being ruined, and it still bleeding the next morning. I acknowledged this is easy done, but the barber refused to acknowledge the error a second time, stating he doesn't use a razor... Not only will my partner not be back, we'll be actively telling people to avoid the incompetence and ignorance.Appalled by the service my partner had at House of Handsome yesterday, the barber caught a skin tag on the back of his head with the razor and didn't even mention it, never mind apologise, so my partner didn't even know it had happened. There was lots of blood, which has resulted in his coat being ruined, and it's still bleeding this morning. Easy done, but acknowledging the error, apologising, and ensuring he had tissue to use when he left would have been the least they could do. Won't be back, complete lack of care and professionalism.

I love this barbers! They actually listen to what you want and give good advice on styles that would suit you for a very good price. I need to get my hair cut around every two weeks and this can be quite costly at other barbers but here you get a top quality haircut for a great price! It's got a great atmosphere and I quite like the music. All round amazing hair experience!!! Never close down!

Best barbers I've been to, I've switched to House of Handsome after recommendation from a friend, wasn't happy with the other place I'd been going to. Both Chris & Sophie are very attentive, they listen to what you want and give their pro advice on what works best for your hair.I've been there twice now and the quality of service has been consistent both times.
