Had the beef. Lady gave extra , extra sauce and beef . Looked after my mum and myself. Was showing her pride in home local food . She was the best foodie ever...... 10 out of 10 1st experience mad me go back next day...

I tried the food. It was so tasty. But the sad part is they do pork now which they didn’t have few months ago. How a shop claimed itself as halal despite of offering pork meat?!! Need to understand the meaning of halal otherwise don't claim. Now stopped taking food from them.

I had the *spicy chicken curry at Kokoro Portsmouth and unfortunately, it was far too watery and spicy, which ruined the meal for me. In comparison, the sources at Kokoro Epsom and Sutton are much nicer and thicker. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she got defensive and said that’s the recipe in all Kokoros and that she had worked in Epsom and Sutton. Although she eventually changed it for another meal combination, the source was still not rectified to the correct recipe like all the other Kokoros in the country.

The food was absolutely delicious. The manager was very attentive, the staff were friendly. The food was prepared very quickly and ready to go in big containers. It's more of a takeaway place but you can dine in too which we did. There was so much left over we took it home and had the rest for dinner.

Always loved Kokoro and couldn't wait to visit once we saw a new restaurant opening in Portsmouth.The premises itself is clean and fresh, with a bit more seating than other Kokoros I've been to. There are four two-seater tables and some bar-style seating in the window if you want to dine in.The staff were really friendly throughout.Overall the food was very good; about the same in quality and portion size as other Kokoros I've been to. I find that £7 - £8 for a hot dish alone is a tad expensive compared to other restaurants/takeaways, however we shared a large sweet chilli chicken pot between the two of us and it was plenty!Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place!! It's always a excellent choice to go with friends or by yourself and eat in or as take away. Big portions and if recommend the rice with sweet and sour chicken.
