Bella Italia - Broadstairs
Liam our waiter made great effort to make us feel welcome in a positive, professional and friendly way. We were really impressed as he made every effort to make us feel comfortable and have a good evening, and of course enjoy the good food. Overall we had a really good experience at this restaurant, the food being fresh, filling and delicious, so would definitely go back for seconds.

Professional friendly staff, food was slow out of the kitchen and cold when it arrived. Side dish arrived when we had almost finished our mains. This was my first trip to Bella Italia and I'm not sure I'll return anytime soon.

1) Had the set menu which was 2 courses for less than £15 or 3 courses for less than £18, thought the pricing of this was excellent and despite being set choices there was enough. I had the dough balls to start which were tasty, followed by carbonara for main (I felt the pancetta was a bit too greasy for my liking I like it crispy) and brownie for dessert which was lovely!2) Stopped for a quick pizza had the picante which was very tasty, perfect if you like a bit of heat.

We came here for our daughter's birthday. The staff were lovely. Even though my daughter didn't order a dessert (she was full up), they still lit a candle and sang for her.The food was hot and fresh and tasty.

Well, I was looking forward to visiting this place before the cinema. We were greeted by friendly staff quickly and shown to our table. Our first choice menu option was not available, i great problem. However it went down hill a bit after ordering. We waited about 20 mins for a starter that never arrived, the waitress came and asked if we had had the starter, we replied no. It arrived maybe 5 mins later. As you will see from my photos, they show my dish and how presented on the menu!! After all a picture paints a thousand words. The starter was not in the best of health on arrival which was a shame as looked pretty good. Same with the main. We also ordered a caramelised onion flat bread which didn’t seem as though was fully cooked! Alas my photo never came out. Anywho I had a pint of Liza beer that tasted great would recommend that more some than the Becks. Place was clean and well presented and were they washrooms.Food not overly impressiveGood drinks and selection tooStaff friendlyWould I go again No unless they up their game.

Booked on 10/09 we went at 20:30 as we both work evenings. When we got there, we were greated with an eye roll. Then they all started cleaning down and putting studd away just as we got our mains. The noise of moving chairs and tables was awful and the staff just stood there complaining the whole time in front of customers.We couldn't order coffee or dessert, we had to leave after we ate our mains and drink our wine which we had to take with us as they were being pushy. It just felt like we weren't wanted and all my partner and I wanted was a nice, romantic meal and no talk about work, the whole experience was awful.I also work as a waitress and I'm never this rude to anyone!

Bella Italia - Broadstairs
My son and I had a lovely lunch today. My first visit since Eat Out To Help Out and much improved now. There were only 2 members of waiting staff on but they coped very well.Special mention to Beata - very friendly, chatty and welcoming. More restaurants need a Beata!
