Kell House Bed & Breakfast
We stayed at Kell House for the second time recently. Our stay was even better than before. Heather and Jonathan our hosts were absolutely great and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our Room was very comfortable and their breakfast was to die for.Jonathan makes his own biscuits, shortbread, jams and marmalade which luckily for me we could buy and take home!We will definitely return to Kell House

Out stay at Kell House with Heather and Jonathan was fabulous! What a lovely place to base yourself for a few days. Eight cyclists were easily accommodated in beautifully decorated rooms each with their own facilities. Cycle storage was also available.Breakfast was awesome; we were very spoilt for choice with a lovely selection that would suit every taste!And a short stroll into town to the Crown!

I was lucky enough to stay here for my birthday. Kell House B&B was one of the nicest B&Bs I've ever been to. Or any type of accommodation for that matter. Previously working in hospitality for nearly 15 years myself, I know how difficult it is to get it right. But the room was lovely, breakfast was spot on and most of all, Heather & Jonathan were perfect hosts from start to finish. You could see that they cared. It was like being invited in to their home rather than just staying as a customer. I would definitely recommend!!

Heather & Jonathan, our hosts at Kell House, work to a very high standard, providing excellent accommodation & wonderful breakfasts! It is a lovely place to stay, relax and unwind!,There are also many walks from the house to enjoy, in this lovely part of Nidderdale!

My husband and I had a magical experience at this accomodating and peaceful bed and breakfast. Jonathan and Heather are warm and welcoming - we even had a guided walk along the panoramic landscape. Breathtaking! Our room and bathroom was spacious, clean, and cozy, and the food was delicious!.You won't find a better spot to stay while in one of the most gorgeous places ever!

As lovely as the house and grounds are, our stay here was wonderful because Heather and Jonathan are great hosts who are friendly innkeepers. I could go on and on. They renovated the house perfectly. The garden is beautiful — and I was lucky enough to play fetch with Moss for a bit, too. Jonathan makes excellent breakfasts. The location is great and Pateley Bridge — really, the whole of the area, is picturesque. We hope to return.

Why are we writing this review over a year after our stay? Because even after this long time, we continue to reflect and talk about not only how lovely our stay at Kell House was, but also how kind and hospitable the hosts, Heather and Jonathan, were.We received a very warm welcome with great efforts to make our stay comfortable and personalized with lots of attention to detail.We are in a unique position to write this review because we used to live in Kell House years before it became a B&B. It was special then, but with the creative and loving way Heather and Jonathan have remodeled and updated this house, it is truly a gem. Calling this place a bed and breakfast is an understatement. The bedrooms were beautiful and the food was fabulous thanks to Jonathan who was formerly a Ritz Carleton chef.We look forward to staying with Jonathan and Heather at Kell House the next time we are in North Yorkshire. What a find! We were warmly greeted by hosts Heather and Jonathan and so began a very enjoyable 3 day break at Kell House !We especially appreciated the comfortable bed - the pillows were blissful!- and the well appointed en-suite.Without doubt the high light was the breakfast! The variety and quality on offer every morning, - homemade preserves and bread- the attention to detail and the high standard of cooking made breakfast a treat ! Simply delicious!Thank you Heather and Jonathan for making our visit to to Pateley Bridge perfect!! We hope to return. Chris and Dawn.
