I have been going to Duell shop for the past year. Since then my hair has grown amazing. Well done to Trecia.

Trecia and Garfield have gifted hands. Trecia maintenance my loc when I had them, and Garfield shaved my sides. When it was time for a change, Garfield did his thing and I love it. Not missing my locs at all. Everyone that works there has amazing energy and keeps with the tradition of having a safe space to talk, laugh and connect.

Booked to get my first retwist and was told basically to restart my locs as they were started in twists and was told my hair would not lock properly (which it is doing still with twists 1 year later) beautiful salon but was really put off by being told this.***To add to my review as the response from the owner is not accurate. My hair has only been palm rolled since I started my loc journey last year, I’ve got no reason to lie. The owner also commented on the good sizing of my locs. My hair is not thin and is quite thick. We did not continue to service as I did not want to comb out my hair as you suggested and give you more money than what I already booked for. I also live about 15 mins away from your salon so I don’t where I told you that I live far away if I even told you.Please ensure you remember what client you are dealing with when responding because you are not referring to me nor my locs. You’re right I do have a choice but don’t say that you complete retwists on people with different locs when you don’t. You did not want to do my hair because it was started with twists and you wanted more money from me no other reasons and I came to you for my first retwist so saying that I interlocked does not make sense.

A loctition you can trust with your hair, Garfield stated my locks 3 years ago never looked elsewhere apart from Duells (he does have a magic touch with hair). Started my son's locs last year and now started my 2nd son's hair this year. This is the only place I trust with my hair. Professionally done and Trish has the best customer care and talented. Great team! I have already sent 2 friends and they are now regulars.

I’ve been coming to Duell from back in the day when they were 2 salons in one. Garfield has taken me from locs to my current little Afro. I’ve always found them to be skilled, professional and experienced. This knowledge allows them to give good honest advice. I’ve recommended Duell to several people, all being happy with their locing, styling, plaiting and maintenance of natural styles. Many have now become regular customers.Garfield is accommodating and friendly. His personality and debates creates a welcoming environment and positive energy.Highly recommended!

When you want the best lock, retwist/wash, oh boy they will scrub ur head in and out. Their service is great and awesome. Gab, very jovial man, his personality is great. Very patient. God bless them all. Whatever he charge you worth the money

Disgraceful.I have refrained from writing a negative review until now.My first hair dresser experience since loccing my hair.Extremely unprofessional attitude, poor quality treatment and bad energy exchange.Product was not properly washed out of hair, no conditioner, was verbally insulted a few times and when I addressed the issue was met with justification for rudeness and a life story of his professionalism and 'good character' (his words), instead of a straight up apology, and changed behaviour, however after threatening to leave with wet hair was given an apology.which I accepted, however the man proceeded to rip through my locs whilst he interlocked my extremely damaged hair" as he put it
