Joshua Howard Joinery, Bespoke Handmade Kitchens

We have just had our kitchen and dining room knocked through, which included getting a new kitchen. We knew we didn’t want anything off-the-shelf, that we wanted bright colours, and ideally plywood.Josh was recommended as a joiner by one of the companies we contacted for kitchen design. He took the kitchen layout we’d planned, recommended a paint brand we could choose colours from, and created the most amazing kitchen for us. It’s beech ply, with deep drawers, a double oven tower, an integrated hob, triple bins, a huge island, bamboo worktops, deep shelves, a breakfast bar and (my favourite thing) a tall double-fronted larder with two interior drawers and racks on the inside of the doors. It’s bright yellow and orange-pink, with the drawers and spice racks inside the larder in lilac. Check out his Instagram and you’ll see our kitchen immediately: it stands out! This is not Josh’s natural style, but he totally got our vision and made us something completely unique and stunning.He also really improved our design, offering reclaimed mahogany handles and painting the sides of cabinets and insides of shelves which I’d assumed would be too much.His work is absolutely top-notch: he’s a real perfectionist, and it’s the kind of work where it shows. Josh fitted a cabinet for our bathroom renovation. At the outset, he sat down with us to understand what we wanted and scoped the job out with us. He then produced the cabinet (see photos) and attended on site to 'scribe in' the fitting, co-ordinating well with the builder and plumber who were installing the rest of the bathroom. We're really pleased with both the look and quality several months on from the fit out.The short of it; I would highly recommend Josh's services (and have done so to friends and family). Absolutely worth the money for bespoke furniture.

Wonderful work by Josh on our kitchen design and build. I don’t normally write google reviews but this was perfect – every detail was thought about by him, and the room ended up looking above and beyond our expectations due to his thoughtfulness. Josh really went out of his way to make sure other tradesmen got what they needed, and even had the electrician commenting on his proactive approach!It was great to work with Josh, and we wouldn't hesitate to work with him again in the future (If he'll have us!)

Josh has done a fantastic job of designing and fitting a bespoke cabinet for us.
