'Kalinka' - cakes and cupcakes made for order

I really recommend Kalina's cakes. The birthday cake was delicious.Sponge cake - delicate,Cream - melted in mouth,Decoration - delicate and tasty.I will definitely order something else.I recommend!

Cheap quality not worth it.

My surprise cake was ruined and she was very rude to my daughter when she said she wasn't happy with the cake. Never again

***WARNING*** to potential people who are looking to have a cake baked by this woman.I decided to go here based on her Facebook page - the photos of her work looked to a good standard, however there were 0 reviews on the page (something to look out for). I paid £25 deposit via Bacs and when I asked to pay the remaining £30 via BACS, she said 'No, I prefer cash please'. After collecting the cake I know why she asked for cash for the final payment;I went to collect the cake and had a quick glance and it looked OK so proceeded to pay her the cash.When I got home and had a close look my family and I were shocked, you could not see the writing on the cake, it was SQUASHED!! the strawberries looked like they were on steroids!! so, I sent Kalinka a polite voice note saying that I was not happy with the cake and gave my reasons why. She responded with a very rude voicenote addressing me by 'Honey' and said I will not get any money back, that I wanted strawberries and its my fault for asking for this, and that she had no space to write on the cake! so it was my fault, she then made a joke out of me and said at the end 'Say Happy birthday to your Grandma, I dont have time for this, bye'.After opening the cake we were SHOCKED with the quality of the cake, the Jam was basically a cheap jam she threw in the middle of the cake. It was so heavy, very apparent she used so much icing and very cheap products used. I am so upset and this was supposed to be a special cake for my aunty not 'grandma' as she is being operating on next week. This woman is a CON. Please stay away- judge the photos for yourselfPlease see her unprofessional response. She also said the cake was worth £80 pounds and not £55. I think this woman is delusional..I went to buy another cake from mark's and Spencer and will not let her ruin my day. I hope she learns from this

I love your delicious cake and will recommend people to buy from you.Helloo everyone reading this, this is just to tell you the truth about one family who are talking about kalinka cakes, she went to school specially for cake and she has been a confectioner in most big shops across UK which I don't want to mention for security reasons, She is on maternity leave at the moment This lady called MABEL FREYTAG" Order a cake and everything was done perfectly and after she took the cake she said letter "H" for Happy birthday was was not clear because strawberry covers half of the letter so she demanded her money because of the letter and kalinka said she she bought recipes and also used 6 hours to finish work plus electricity and fuel because for shopping. and because she said no because she used money to buy all recipes the woman broke the cake into pieces and took a photo and send it back to her while they never eat or test the cake So why she sent the broken cake to her and after trying to tarnish her image.I swear from the Bible that the woman and people who are tarnishing her image never ate her cake because they were angry and they lied that she used cheap stuffs
