Orchard Park Cafe
Disappointed with the service in this cafe the past couple of times. This morning I popped in, waited five mins to be seated in the half-full cafe. Ordered a cold drink and scone which took over half an hour to arrive. And the scone had been heated up to the point I couldn’t eat it straight away. Many other people waited so long for their order to be taken they walked out. Staff said it was because they were so busy but the cafe was only just over half full.

Went there with my partner and my children full breakfast waited ages for it when it eventually arrived. It was cold when I complained about it. The man went off but never returned. We then left and paid and was asked. Was everything okay I said no it was not it was terrible and the only answer I got was oh sorry about that that’s the second time I have been, I will never go again service is diabolical. We only went there because the Rose Café in the High Street is closed on a Tuesday unfortunately.Very disappointed and spent over £40 on breakfast.

The pieces have gone up, understandably, however that shouldn’t mean the food given should be halved. £1.95 for an egg cup of beans is disgusting, to then fill your plate with salad leaves to go with your fry up to hide the emptiness of plate not only does it not go with me sausage egg and hash brown they try to to make you think your stupid for not knowing what they doing.Used to be regulars, however, won’t be long before they loose more loyal customers.

Went in for a quick coffee with my husband. Paid the young guy. Got up to go, then was accused of not paying by a female member of staff. When we said we had, another female member accused us of not paying. What the hell? Rude and embarrassing. It wasn't even busy. Won't be goi g again!

Disappointed. Food looked good but unacceptably long wait- advised it would be 20 minutes, then another 5 minutes but after 40 minutes in total we agreed to cancel the order and left. When you're travelling you just can't wait that long for a snack lunch.

Very disappointing. Customer service is slow and at times no existent. Shown to our table and then left for ages. Had to ask to order, as did another lady. School girls serving felt like they were doing you a favour with poor attitudes and more interested in gossiping or checking their phones!The coffee was fine but the toasted tea cake was like cardboard.Staff would really do with a course on customer service and how to deal with people.

Sorry to say my visit was a disappointment. I popped into for a lunch for myself and my partner as an occasional treat. My soup was very watery. More like a vegetable stock and a very small bowl. My partner had a tuna and cheese panini. The tuna was not properly drained so made the un-buttered roll soggy. Cheese was very mild so no flavour. Hot chocolate was missing the chocolate - so basically hot milk. We asked for that to be replaced and the next one was much better. We won’t be eating there again as we can can do better at home for a fraction of the price. I do like the garden centre and the serving staff are good. What came out of the kitchen was of a poor standard on the occasion of my visit.

The food is fine but nothing special and certainly not good value for the price. It's okay if you're going to the garden centre anyway but other nearby garden centres have much higher quality cafes attached to them
