I was thinking of visiting the area but will be unable to make this pub part of any trip. There have been some worrying reports of dead animal parts left on premises and a connection to the hunting of wildlife. I prefer my hospitality experiences to be without bloodstains and the pain of innocent creatures.

Sadly this 'establishment' knowing and happily hosts a hunting organisation that participates in illegal fox hunting. The manager became quite abusive when told, calling people r*****s"...so if you are special needs

Was looking forward to a visit but having discovered that they openly support illegal hunting we dont feel able to do so.Also having read that anyone who shares this opinion are referred to as re....s by the management I feel deeply uncomfortable planning a visit.Sorry about that

Never been but images suggest a real dump.And it supports hunting animals with dogs.Must be on its uppersExtraordinary just how low some people will stoop for money.Avoid.

This pub hosts the local hunting brigade so I won't be visiting this place. Fox and stag hunting is barbaric.

the new landlady is very welcoming and and has a good sense of humour.im looking forward to when they start doing food at these premises.
